This was the most wonderful resort. The unit was clean, well furnished, and felt like home. My husband and I spent a week with another couple in the unit. Grace Bay is as prestine to the eye as to the ear!! The beaches were not crowded and passerbys were few. We walked down to Coral Gardens to snorkel and walked through Beaches..wow, kids galore, and not for an adult-only trip. The other direction we walked by Club Med....much more beach area, yet still not Villa Renaissance. I would book here again in a moment. The island is very expensive. We walked to the local store for snacking and drinks...be prepared for a few items and a large food bill. Sixty dollars for a case of beer!!! Listing is very accurate, photos are great..yet the actual view is better than the photos. We loved the Seven Stars Deck for music and drinks..food not so good. The Regent Palms has an amazing spa and the pool restaurant Plunge is the best meal we had...the food on the island is not be best...unless you are having conch or grouper. Go the the Regent Palms, for the experience alone..sooooo beautiful. Our contacts,Nicola and Mel, were very professional and helped with anything we needed. This was a vacation to remember, will return!!!

Villa Renaissance is a smaller condo unit which we liked since it wasn’t slammed with people. Reminds me of a Ritz maybe but not on the level of a Four Seasons (unless you are a super snob this place should make anyone happy). When you walk onto the property there is a small open air reception area where they have a small bar area adjacent to it (there is no dining on the property). From there there is the open pool area with lounge chairs, umbrellas and free towels to use as you see fit. Past the pool are the villas/condos. The place is 4 stories high and we stayed on the first floor. The first floor is raised a ½ level so you are not on the ground which was at first a concern for me because of the view. The view was spectacular we had so don’t fret if you are on the ground level. The unit had travertine tile throughout, stainless appliances, granite in the (fully equipped) kitchen – you get the idea… The deck/porch area was perfect too. There were 3 huge sliding glass doors (floor to ceiling) which could all be pushed into the adjoining wall so it made the living room part of the outdoors. The unit had linens, towels, fully stocked kitchen (minus the food), started bathroom needs (TP, soap, shampoo). Nicer than many homes I have seen. THE AREA 100 yards walk from the condo and you have access to 7-8 restaurants, shops, bars and places to shop. This is not a big party town and someone wanting this should not come here. Much of the area or store locations are empty whether this is due to the economy or because it was newly built I am not sure however there is enough here to keep occupied for a night out. Food shopping you can walk to sort of (15 minute walk) – ask for a free bike rental for the front desk instead. The new IGA which is probably the nicest food store on the island is a bit small but has all the basics you need from cereal to formula deli, beer, wine. Liquor, soda – again a smaller version of your grocery store at home but maybe not all the brands you are use to. Prices are higher 12-pack of Coke $8.00 – case of Budweiser $40.00, pound or turkey $12, box of cereal $5. There is a larger IGA which requires you to drive to. OK - I am running out of space but this was a great place and would strongly recommend to anyone - you wont be disappointed !!

We literally just returned from our first (but not last!) vacation from Provo. Toni ~ your villa was wonderful and even though the pics on the VRBO site are fantastic, it is even better in person. BREATHTAKING! Immediately upon arrival, I wished that we had more days to our trip, and when we had to leave after 6, I knew I was right. I am already planning our trip back next year! But can I wait that long?? ;0) Things we did: Lazed around on the beach directly in front of the villa. For hours. And hours. And hours. So peaceful, so relaxing, so beautifully blue. I wish I was there right now! Caicos Dream Tours half day snorkeling excursion. We loved it! 3 snorkeling stops and a nice long beach stop to "Iguana Island" for exploring and some fresh conch salad (that we dove for!). My son and I saw a "friendly" reef shark during one of the snorkeling stops! Uh, YIKES! Took a cab to the ferry and had a day trip to North and Middle Caicos. Rented a car upon arrival. We drove all over both islands. Mudjin, 3 Marys ~ WOW! Took a cab to "The Hole" and Holey Moley its a big hole! Our cab driver, Kalvin (from above trip, too) then dropped us off at The Bight beach for the most amazing snorkeling. And, it's FREE! (not the cab ride) We snorkeled for hours ~ it was truly amazing!!! Then, we walked back to Villa Renaissance...it took maybe 45 minutes?? but we stopped a couple of times to play in the water and cool off! We had to walk through Beaches Resort and BOY, ARE WE GLAD WE DIDNT STAY THERE, even my kids (ages 8 and 10) mentioned how crazy, crowded it was! Dinner at Pizza/Pizza, Danny Buoys, and Saltmills Diner. We ate in the villa, mostly! And did I mention that we lazed around in front of the villa for hours? Thank goodness we came upon the treasure that is Toni's beautiful villa. We must mention how incredibly nice, helpful and informative MEL was to us. She was our own personal concierge service. We luved her, truly! Nicola was also very friendly and professional, these two ladies made our first trip to TCI worry and stress free. Thank you! A bazillion Thank You's, Toni, for our most wonderful vacation ever! I enjoyed "meeting you" via the phone before our trip, and I appreciate all of your advice to make the most of our trip. If you are ever in the DC area, come visit us. Um, we have a pool. ;0) xoxo, patty, bruce, reese and rachel

My wife and I spent our 15th Wedding Anniversary in this unit. It is so nice that my wife, upon entering the unit, was speechless! The photos are only half as good as the live view. The entire complex was immaculate and this unit was incredibly comfortable. I have been to Hawaii, Cabo San Lucas, Cancun, Jamaica, Florida (Atlantic and Gulf), Texas (South Padre and Galveston), California, etc. and none of the beaches compare. The facility is small enough to be uncrowded but still had all the amenities necessary for a spectacular stay. This is a wonderful place to unwind and relax on the beach. My wife and I both also had a great experience with "Fifi" and Matthew and Emma and Gordon at Caicos Adventures, both snorkeling and diving! The unit is within walking distance of many excellent dining venues as well as shopping opportunities, and there is a very fun Irish pub across the main street, about 200 yards from the complex, called Danny Buoys, that also serves up some delicious fare. You only need to bring sunscreen, swim suits, sunglasses and a lot of smiles to enjoy all that this unit and the location offer!
