Cute 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo at A Place at the Beach, Atlantic Beach, NC. Master bedroom has a comfortable queen bed with DVD player and cable TV. Second bedroom has a double bed and twin bunk beds. Livingroom has cable TV with DVD player. A small selection of DVD movies are provided. Free WiFi.
There is a large outdoor pool with a 150' water slide! The outdoor pool also has a 1 foot wading area that is ideal for small children. The complex also provides a heated indoor pool, whirlpool, a 9 hole miniature golf course (free for guests), ping pong table, shuffle board, tennis courts, basketball court, playground area, and game room. There is also a grass covered courtyard area that is perfect for throwing frisbees or playing ball. There are covered gas grills by the indoor pool and charcoal barbeque grills in the courtyard for your use. A Place at the Beach provides a handicap accessible boardwalk to the beach. You can sit and relax in the shade under the boardwalk's gazebo.
The office staff is very friendly and helpful. They can assist you with information on local attractions and rentals. Popular nearby attractions include the NC Aquarium, Fort Macon State Park, Cape Lookout Lighthouse, Morehead City Waterfront, Historic Beaufort, NC Maritime Museum, golfing, deep sea fishing, surf fishing, and scenic boat tours. You can rent bikes, kayaks, surf boards, and stand up paddle boards in the area. There are also grocery stores, surf shops, a movie theater, and great restaurants conveniently located. Ask us about some of our favorite places to eat! A small snack/gift shop is located on site as well.
A new full size (double) mattress was purchased in May 2012. New bed comforters and linens were purchased for our unit in Sept. 2011. Sofas were recovered and all flooring was redone in Jan 2010 . Sofas and carpeting were professionally cleaned in June 2012. Ceramic tile flooring in master bath was completed in Jan. 2012. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking and has new appliances. Cook in and save money! There are 2 Shorewood roundback chairs on the balcony. Our unit also provides 3 beach chairs, skim boards, boogie boards, and a rolling beach cart for your use. Linens are provided with no additional charge (beach towels are not included). The unit is located on the first floor and has easy access for carrying luggage and groceries.
A Place at the Beach is an ocean front condo complex. Our unit does NOT have an ocean view. Our unit faces the parking lot by the indoor pool.
This is a great place to relax with your family and friends. The complex offers something for people of all ages. You can do as little or as much as you'd like. Book early- this unit rents quickly!

This Is a great place to stay with children. We had a blast at the indoor pool, on the beach and at the Put put. Already booked our next stay and can't wait to get back again. Stayed Oct 20 to Dec 20/11, again, and enjoyed ourselves. Lots of great surf fishing this year. New mini putt was fun, new patio area at mini putt, indoor pool enclosure had improvements done & new outdoor grills that we regularly used. Love the outdoor hot tub too! Condo still very comfortable and booked again for 2012....woohoo!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

The place was very nice and as expected. It was a great deal and the most comfortable beds ever. Thank you for a great deal and a great week. I would stay there again.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+.

Repeat customer for 2 months in fall, referred family who also rented, comfortable condo (beds/living area/appiances/bathrooms) as shown in pics, loved the pools/hot tubs/grills and balcony for the morning sun (small view of ocean). Enjoyed the shuffleboard/ping pong/surf fishing. Owner accessible by phone/email & accommodating. Staff at complex are friendly/helpful. Actual beach is 5 minute walk max thru complex (and boardwalk over dunes). Shopping/dining/community services 1-10 minute drive at beach & Morehead City....great bicycling. Good restaurants/shopping/touring...Fort Macon/Beaufort/Down East/New Bern/Jacksonville/Ocracoke. Great relaxing vacation.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We stayed in the Condo for most of the month of April,2011. It is a great area. The condo complex is oceanfront but the condo does not have an oceanview. We knew this before renting. The condo was clean and the bed in the master was so comfortable. The unit was well stocked for cooking. We would certainly rent again from this owner.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

Thank you! Our grandsons had a ball at the pool and I actuall tubed down the slide (and lived)! We ordered in from Luigi's and it was wonderful - thanks. FYI - I tried to vaccum, however, the cup was packed full and I didn't have anything to empty in, so you might want to check it when you go back.
