We stayed in this home for Easter 2011. My family had a wonderful time hanging out in town and the backyard. We rented a boat from a local marina and went exploring the sound it was very cool. The house was in good shape and everything was exceptional. Would highly recommend to anyone.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, families with young children.

Our family had a fabulous time at this lovely Captiva home. The view was magnificent, the house was well appointed, and the location was within walking distance of great restaurants, the beach, and convenience stores. We would definitely go back to this great property.

The house is as advertised. I was hesitant at first because they did not accept credit cards as payment. Reluctantly I sent a check as a "hold" for the dates I requested. I immediatly recieved my key in the mail "next day"------probably because of the short notice of making plans. I did'nt bother taking my boat because of the dock that is very fishable. My family of 6 (4 kids under 10) barely used half of the house. Also, we only spent about 1 hour at the beach the whole week. The dock and pool were our retreat. Restaurants are close---walking distance there's 8-10 great places to eat. My advice for families on a budget is to take groceries and cook a few meals at the house as the restaurants are pricey. Overall the experience, aside from "no see ems' was excellent.

We had a wonderful time here. We woke every morning to dolphins and manitees by the boat dock, and had a heron at the pool with us in the afternoon. My boys went fishing off the dock and caught a selection of fish as well as a snake.( that the heron ate!) This home was within walking distance to local restaurants, a mini market, jetskiing and parasailing and kayak rentals. My family and I will definitely visit again. Thank you Rusty for opening your home to us!! It was simply amazing!!

What a wonderful home!! The house is stunning, the views amazing and the location....perfect. The kitchen was well stocked and the whole house was squeaky clean. We had a wonderful stay and made some great family memories.
