Great opportunity to experience Colorado living in a custom furnished home. You walk into a entry with hand painted tiles on the floor, large carved stone columns that looks into the living room that has vaulted ceilings and a stacked river rock fireplace and cowhide furniture gives you a warm down to earth feeling. The formal dining room portrays a hand carved painted rearing horse and French doors leading to the koi ponds. The gourmet kitchen is a great place to create wonderful meals. The atrium brings in lots of sunshine and a good way to start the morning with a cup of java. The home is a tri-level.
The stairs leading down into the great room is a place for all family members to enjoy TV and movies with surround sound. Also downstairs includes a separate office and gym area. There is a 1/2 bath and laundry facilities which leads to a heated 2-car garage (parking for one car only). As you make your way upstairs on the curved staircase with Italian glass details, there is two bedrooms and a loft. The bathroom has a vintage bath/shower. The Master bedroom has a private bath with a whirlpool tub. Living on one acre with over 40 trees will give you the privacy and beauty you expected to see in Colorado. The Unique Benefits of this House
Colorado has beautiful blue skies almost everyday. Sitting in every room of the house you have views of big green trees and red mountains. I love opening a window and hearing the waterfalls of the koi pond outside. The house is very private surrounded by trees. There is a fireplace in the living room and a pellet stove in the great room, in the winter is is nice and toasty. I also love the fact that I can work out in the gym everyday. There is also a great walking trail around the golf course. The house has been decorated with things that both my husband and I found on trips, so a lot of things are special to us. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare great meals. My favorite is to take a whirlpool bath at night with my book, a glass of wine and relax before going to bed. During the winter we get herds of elk that walk through our neighborhood. These are beautiful animals. Late at night you can hear them clicking and talking with each other. During the fall you get the beautiful colors in the trees. During the winter you get to see the snowing falling. During the spring the trees leafing and the flowers blooming. During the summer you get wonderful warm sunny days and afternoon rain showers. Colorado has everything.

We had the best time ever here in your beautiful home. We loved the beautiful sunshine. We live in North Pole Alaska where it is currently -30 and the sun only shines 3 hours a day. The hot tub felt wonderful every morning with a cup of coffee. We hope to someday come visit in the summer to see the beautiful pond in your backyard. A lovely comfortable home with lots of room to spread out. Nothing is more relaxing than sitting in front of the outdoor gas fireplace next to the koi ponds, listening to the waterfall. The kitchen is roomy and great to cook in and the bedrooms are all comfortable. I wouldn't recommend the loft for anyone over age 8 but there's a big air mattress downstairs that easily turned the TV room into another bedroom for our nephew. It was very convenient to Glenwood where we enjoyed the tram and adventure park and not far at all from Aspen, 20-30 min. away.

Our family stayed in this beautiful Colorado home for two weeks. Our six children enjoyed the home as much as my husband and I did. The house is beautifully decorated and has a very nice layout. Plenty of space to spread out, including a well equipped workout room. The backyard is a wonderful place to relax and large enough to play football or baseball in. We cooked much more than we normally do on vacation because the kitchen was a pleasure to work in. The home has every convenience. The owners were great to work with. We would highly recommend this home for your next vacation.

This home is beautifully appointed and the property is immaculate. It far exceeded our expectations. The series of koi ponds on different levels with a waterfall running in between provided a stunning addition to the property. Our two small grandchildren especially enjoyed the loft which was the perfect size for them and included two kid-sized chairs and a TV. The owner was very helpful with any questions we had. I would highly recommend this property to anyone renting in the Glenwood Springs area. It's a quick car trip into town and the hot springs and there is a paved bike trail a very short distance from the house that runs for many miles.
