The Pinewood cabin is totally secluded atop Grassy Mountain. A 3/2 with queen sized bed in two of the bedrooms and a full in the third. featuring real knotty pine paneling and oak hardwood floors and indoor jacuzzi tub. The entire house has vaulted ceilings. the cabin is secluded atop Grassy Mountain facing due west close to the village of L. Switzerland with an awesome view of Mt. Mitchell highest peak east of the Mississippi. No picture can capture this veiw from the deck. MT. Mitchell looms in the foeground.
The top of the line deep well Nordic hot tub seats 6 comfortably. Star lit skies and beautiful sunsets are yours. Available depending on season and supply... organically grown vegetables and home brew. Free Pool, outdoor hot tub, and tennis privileges seasonally available nearby. Master bedroom has a 46' plasma screen TV, 40" Sony in living room. For those who seek privacy and a secluded location this would be your choice.

Pinewoods Cabin is just as it is described. It is well maintained, has an astounding view of Mt. Mitchell, a multitude of stars, a wonderful stone fireplace, hot tub and is very private. We enjoyed our weekend which included a glorious sunset and snow, making our time there very magical. Rick, the owner, was very responsive to my inquiries, easy to work with and helpful when we arrived. We will happily return someday.

My spouse and I had a wonderful week in Little Switzerland. The view is incredible off the deck. The home is exactly as presented and there was a nice load of firewood for a fire that we truly enjoyed. As for as local experiences , please go to the Emerald village and find your fortune.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
