French doors open onto deck or balcony in every bedroom with a third story master bedroom view of the Gulf of Mexico from the queen-sized bed. Large cool Mexican tiles soothe your feet as your mind unwinds in a southwestern motif with a Key West soul.
The outdoor part are large screened decks in the front and back of the main floor. Relax in the late afternoon sun in the hammock on the front deck and dine on the back deck overlooking the heated turquoise swimming pool under the canopy of the pool cage. Massage those tired muscles with the Jacuzzi jets around the built-in pool bench. Beach chairs and bicycles are at your disposal. The super market is literally a stone's throw away, as well as a full service marina with a fine dining restaurant overlooking Estero Bay.

Here I am doing what I do best - - - being easy. A recycled bar and grill owner from Key West, I am, sadly, a widower now and another one of them beach musicians who can't quit his day job. A whole other lifetime or two ago I worked in D.C. for the U.S. Labor Dept. and prior to that for the state of Vermont.

We loved our stay! My friend and I brought 3 teenage girls, we could hide away in our own little upstairs room with lanai and bathroom to ourselves while the girls acted silly downstairs. The pool area was very nice, even had a dart board down there. Loved the big back porch area with a big grill. All porches and pool area are screened, so no worry of bugs. The beach is a short 2 block walk and the grocery is very close, just have to get around the fence. We love to visit The Book Nook down island a few miles, they sell used books and new ones, everyone needs a good book for the beach! The owners are very helpful and live just downstairs so are easy to reach. The only drawbacks were you cannot hear the waves as you are not on the beach but we much enjoyed the added space of a home as opposed to a condo, and the constant honking of cars being locked at the Publix (we discovered that is noise pollution and now are concious to lock the car from the inside). Overall the place is GREAT!!
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway, families with teenagers.
