Lahaina Shores is located on the famed "Front Street" and on the beach on the West Side of Maui Island. The architecture is a " seven story plantation style building". It has 199 units and was built in conjunction with 505 Front Street Shops and Restaurants. It opened in 1974 and is currently undergoing a building renovation primarily for the exterior to be completed at the end of February 2010. Renovations to the lobby were completed in 2006.

Lahaina Shores is just three block away from the center of Lahaina Town and the huge Bayan Tree planted in 1848. There is no need to look for a parking place, it's a short walking distance from the property. The front desk is 24/7 with security in the evening hours. You can pay for parking at $3.50 a day either on the top lot if available or next door in an underground garage.

Unit 101 is a one bedroom, one bath, ground floor located on the southwest corner of the building. Around the corner are the gas Barbeque grills, but other than that, foot traffic is minimal because it's on the end. It is the only one bedroom on the ground floor that the bedroom faces the ocean. The unit has tile throughout and has central air conditioning. A complimentary safe that can fit most laptops is provided as well as pay for high speed internet access. A king size bed is in a separate bedroom and a queen size sofa-hide-a-bed in the living room.

It has a full size kitchen with refrigerator, radiant top stove, and microwave. Dishes, glasses, utensils, pots and pans are all there ready for you to cook that delicious meal. Major grocery stores are within a mile and a half away. Whaler's General Store in next door at 505 Shops and Restaurants. Eating out all the time is fun, but can get expensive. To cook or not to cook. It's all up to you. Two new flat screen televisions were just added in the living room and bedroom.

Minimum night stay is 4 nights. A $300.00 deposit is required after a confirmed booking, with the balance due 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations canceled prior to 30 days arrival will receive the deposit back less $100.00. Reservations canceled with 30 days will receive all money paid less $300.00. No shows will not receive any money returned.

Why the Owner Chose Lahaina Shores Beach Resort

It was purchased because of it's location. It's one of the few places on Maui where you can see all three islands of Kahoolawe, Lanai and Molokai. Plus you can walk to many places in Lahaina and don't need a car.

The Unique Benefits of this Condominium

The property is beachfront with nothing but a few coconut trees and lawn between the units and the beach. The sound of the waves lulls you to sleep at night. Unit 101 is on the southwest corner of the building, meaning less walking traffic around the unit. It's peaceful and quiet and without the hustle and bustle of a mega resort.
