Jack's Shack is a private home which is on the Little River in Townsend, Tn. If it is not large enough to accommodate all of your guest there is additional lodging available right here. People of all ages love it here and we know you will too.
You are only a half mile from the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and only eight miles from Cades Cove which is the most visited state park in the country.
Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg are less than 18 miles from your home. Pigeon Forge is famous for Dolly Wood, many entertaining shows similar to, but better than Branson.
Many people prefer to stay on this side where it is more peaceful and more scenic. There are many other things to do here no matter what you like it is right here. I guess the only thing we do not have is an ocean beach. A beach is a beach but a mountain is everything you can imagine.

This location is so peaceful and just minutes away from all the great places in the Smoky Mountains. There could not be a better place.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Sitting out on the back deck right on The Little River and watching people young & old floating by on Inner Tubes of all colors & sizes. Fishing when the tubers are all gone is great. (2500) Trout to every mile of river, and just lying back in the hammock and listening to the river flow across the rapids you will swear you are in heaven.

I moved to The Smoky Mountains with my wife & kids in 2004. We had vacationed here for more than 5 years and just had to move here. There are so many great things to see and do here. Our kids were 10 & 11 And they are now 16 & 17. We are proud American's and I spent 4 years in the U. S. Navy. We have owned several great businesses throughout 20 years together and nothing has been better than this. This is considered gods country by most and they also advise not to let the Smoky Mountain Smoke get in your eyes or you will want to move here and spend the rest of your life.
