This condo is centrally located in south Maui on south Kihei road. It is directly across from some of the nicest white sand beaches on the island. The total length of these nearby beaches exceeds 6 miles. The condo is just across Kihei road from Kamaole Beach Park (Kam II). The beach is only a couple hundred yards/meters from the condo, and the Pacific Ocean another 100 from there. The beach has a lifeguard station, and is a great place for picnicking, snorkeling, body surfing and viewing beautiful sunsets. The large resort pool is only 50 yards/meters from the condo.
Also within easy walking distance are shops, restaurants, sports bars, convenience stores, shave ice, et cetera. There are also six ‘world class’ golf courses within a few minutes drive of the condo. Kihei town is centrally located on Maui with easy access to Wailea/Makena, or driving to Lahaina, Ka’anapali, Kapalua.
I just recently purchased and remodeled this condo (October 2009). The remodel included new tile flooring from the entrance through the lanai, new carpeting in the bedroom, new paint on the walls and ceilings, new cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom, new glass block shower wall for the walk-in shower, new sunshades for the lanai, new African Mahogany bookcase and all new furniture and appliances. I also added a security screen door.
The condo is on the top floor of a three story building. Three of its’ side are open which facilitates flow-though ventilation by the ‘trades’. The extremely large (1500 square foot) deck is exclusive and private to the condo. Access is through a doorway on the lanai. The deck contains lounge chairs, hammock, a table, and other chairs for sunning or dining. From the deck you can enjoy your morning coffee and witness the sunrise over Haleakala (10,000 feet in elevation) while accessing the web wirelessly, if necessary. To the other direction (west) you can see the swimming pool and peek-a-boo views of the ocean.
There are two new HD flat screen televisions, one in the living room and one wall-mounted in the bedroom. The bedroom television is also equipped with a wireless headphone. A new Sony AM/FM/stereo/CD player/DVD player, with ipod docking station is also connected to the living room television. Both televisions are fed by cable. There is a local phone with answering machine in the living room with bedroom extension. Both wired and wireless high-speed internet service is also provided, if you really need to maintain connectivity.
All the furniture in the condo and on the lanai is new. The bedroom bed is a California king size. The sofa sleeper in the living room is queen size. The refrigerator is also new and contains an ice-maker. A new microwave with range hood has also been installed. All the kitchen utensils are new, as are all the house wares. I have purchased beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels, beach mats and coolers for your use as well.

Why the Owner Chose Kihei Kai Nani
I chose this area after having stayed in a similar unit for several years. Kihei is on the leeward side of Maui, and therefore gets the least amount of wind and rain; consequently receiving the most amount of sunshine.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
I enjoy watching from the deck the Sun rise over Haleakala, and the Sun setting at Kamaole II. Frequently you can see the humpback whales just off shore, when they make their winter migration from Alaska to burn blubber and birth their young.

I am currently living in Anchorage, Alaska. I have been visiting Maui for the past 35 years. I consider it 'paradise on Earth'. This is a photo of myself with grand-daughter, taken several years ago. It was her first visit to the Sandwich Islands (Hawai'i) where and when she began swimming for the first time.
