This 5 bedroom/6 bathroom 9700' estate is located high on a hillside in gated country club community and sits on over an acre of private property. The estate, previously occupied by several celebrities, has rooms that are grand in size with incredible views, elevator, marble floors, beamed ceilings, 3 fireplaces, stone columns, heated pool and full outdoor kitchen and living space with gas fireplace.
Main level includes living room with grand piano and fireplace, dining room, private solarium overlooking the city with built-in music system, full lounge with sink and dishwasher, gourmet kitchen, breakfast room with deck, large walk-in pantry, full laundry room, and a kitchen and foyer powder room. The luxurious master suite has a jacuzzi tub, 42' plasma television and private deck.
The lower level includes 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths, media room with 70' HD home theatre system, stone fireplace, billiard room with bar and direct access to the pool and outdoor kitchen.
Grand Sized Living & Entertaining Spaces
Although there are other 4 or 5 bedroom rental properties there is nothing like this estate property due to the size, open entertainment areas and the close proximity to all amenities. The entertainment areas on the main level encompass the living room, commercially sized lounge and dining area and are over 2500 square feet; (the overall size of many properties) they open onto a grand-sized solarium which is 30 x 20 and has a built in music system and an entire wall of floor to ceiling windows with views of the city, golf course and mountains.
This property provides private sleeping quarters, and entertainment/recreational spaces for those times when you want to be together in a large space - all at a much lower overall cost than 5 or 6 separate hotel suites.
Media Room and Lower Level
The media room is located on the ground level; furnished with 70' home theatre, stone wood-burning fireplace, music system and comfortable sectional sofa. The space opens to the billiard room with its own wet bar and storage area and has direct access through the floor to ceiling glass doors to the outdoor kitchen, patio and pool area.
4 bedrooms and 3 full baths are located on this level - all with views and 3 with private patios or decks and elevator access. Bedroom #3 & #4 share a large full bath with dressing area and are well suited for a family with small children that may require some supervision. Bedroom #4 is very large with a 60' television, large leather sofa, king-sized bed, double closet, private deck with a view and large windows overlooking the mountains and the pool area. Two sets of stairs access the area from the kitchen and the upstairs lounge. For those not wanting to use the stairs, the elevator can be used to access all floors.
Kitchen Suite
The kitchen is equipped with 2 convection wall ovens, a sub-zero refrigerator/freezer, a sub-zero freezer, 50-bottle wine refrigerator, 5 burner cook top with 1 induction burner, dishwasher, and microwave. A built in 32' flat screen television is adjacent to the cook top; perfect for watching while cooking! The suite has a large walk-in pantry, powder room, breakfast room with deck and laundry room. The laundry room is equipped with front-loading high efficiency appliances, wall to wall cabinetry, a pull out craft or sewing table, closet and a large window with a great view and has elevator access.

We rented this home recently. It is, indeed, large, has outstanding views and is in a good location in Tucson. It is a good home for a larger gathering although it only sleeps 9. Very roomy and lots of area to spread out. However.....it is beginning to show it's age. The house was built in the '70's and shows some wear in areas. The kitchen has granite countertops but the cabinets (and there are lots of them) look like 1980's oak. They are in good shape but look outdated and old. There is a nice bar area on the main level but the finish is wearing off the wood at one end and it looks somewhat neglected. Similarly, in one of the downstairs bedrooms it appears that there has possibly been a water leak that required replacing some carpet. The area where the carpet was replaced is about 3 feet by 6 feet and the replacement carpet shows seams and is a slightly different color that the carpet in the rest of the room. It looks like a cheap repair. In the master bedroom (which has a great view and deck and is a very nice room) some molding on the ceiling has been replaced and rather than replace the molding along the entire length of one wall, a 4 foot section was replaced and is slightly different than the rest of the molding in the bedroom. Again, it looks cheaply done when it could look good for not much more. There are places in the home where you can TV cable running along the bottom edge of trim boards. This is because the home is old and the walls are solid. When it was built there was probably not cable service in all homes. However, the cables could have been hidden better by using a slightly different type of trim. Finally, three of the bedrooms downstairs share bathrooms in some way. Two share with each other and the third has a bathroom that is used as the bathroom for the TV/gaming area. In summary, I feel this home is actually a 3.5 (but I can't give that rating). If we were to have a larger group in Tucson again we would try other homes first. We might use this home again but only if we could not find anything more current.

Wow this was an amazing place to stay. The house is extremely spacious allowing everyone their own space and privacy. The view in the morning from the breakfast nook as well as at night in the solarium is unbelievable. The rooms are very spacious and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is very roomy and makes it easy to prepare a meal wether you are 1 or 5 people cooking at the same time. The back yard was amazing as well from it's gas fireplace to it's huge BBQ grill and heated pool. That is where we would hang out and have supper. There is pleanty of patio furniture for everyone to sit comfortably. The location was great too, close to an array of stores just a few minutes away by car. I would definatly recommend this property to friends. All in all it was a fantastic stay and will probably be back next year. Thank you Dawn for everything and hope to visit again next year. We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful residence & found it a wonderful home for entertaining a large group...most of our group stayed at nearby hotels, but we were able to gather 3 generations of family for meals and fellowship and not feel like we were on top of each other. We even had a baby & mama Gila Monster sighting on our first day! The house appealed to all ages, and the elevator allowed our "over 80" set to enjoy the company at all levels of the home. Even the teenagers insisted that we repeat every year in the same house for the rest of their lives!
