Located just 15 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge in the northwest mountains of Georgia, Moosilaukee Lodge is one of the best mountain getaways in the area. It has great views of the Blue Ridge mountains and the Nantahala National Forest. Just dream about waking up to a sunrise on the deck with a cup of coffee looking out over the Blue Ridge mountains. And then seeing the most colorful sunsets from the same deck in the evenings.

Moosiluakee Lodge is an almost 3000 sq ft 3 bedroom home located on the top of a gated and paved 3000 ft elevation mountain with views of GA, TN, and NC with plenty of family activities in the Blue Ridge area including: Boating, Fishing, Trail Hiking, Golfing, Whitewater rafting, Outdoor Movie Theatre, and Bicylcing. Lake Blue Ridge Marina is only 20 minutes away.

The Moosilaukee Lodge is beautifully appointed with furniture, rugs, and wall hanging. With wood floors, rustic pine walls and ceilings that add to the mountain decor throughout the lodge. The lodge has three levels with a bedroom and bath on each level. The house will sleep 9 in beds and 11/12 with convertible beds.

The UPPER LEVEL has the masterbed room with bath, a gas fireplace and its own private balcony. The bath has a jet tub and a tiled walkin glass door shower. And granite top vanities with 2 sinks. The upper level has a spaceous loft with two twin beds and a sofa. The sofa is a great spot for reading with a view of the Blue Ridge mountains.

The MAIN LEVEL has a gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, cooktop with oven, and island work counter/bar. The dining area has a table that will seat 8 for dinner. The kitchen has pots, pans, cooking bowls, plates, and cooking utensils. All you need is the food and drink. Just off the kitchen is the laundry room with washer and dryer. The family room also on the main floor has sofa and chairs to seat 6. It has a stone/gas fireplace, wall mounted flat screen HDTV with Direct TV satelite connection and a DVD player as well. The bedroom on the main level has a king bed with large bath with jet tub and walkin tiled/glass doored shower. Granite topped vanity with double sinks. Sitting area and door to the main deck and porch hammock.

The LOWER LEVEL has a large bedroom with a queen bed and a twin bed with a bath and shower. Exit door to the lower deck and windows. The lower level also has a large game room with a foosball table, TV, gas fireplace, game/card table, wet bar with small kitchen and small refrigerator. Great place for the children to play.

The MAIN LEVEL DECK has a wood burning fireplace and a covered dining/relaxing area with a table for 6. A gas grill and rocking chairs for visiting each day.

Exceptional amenities; everything was furnished and we had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend. I didn't know sitting out on the deck at night in the cold could be so relaxing until I sat by this beautiful fireplace with the roaring fire - it was amazing. We'll definitely be back!
