While you enjoy a quiet sanctuary, a wealth of attractions are only a convenient drive to Sevierville, Dollywood and Gatlinburg.
Hickory Shores offers your family the best of both worlds with boating, swimming, fishing right outside your door and the fun of Gatlinburg or Knoxville just minutes away. The 1.5 acre property is fully fenced. Large screened porch provides panoramic views where you may savor the cool breezes from the lake.
Cabin sleeps 6 with 2 bedrooms and a sleeping loft with trundle bed. It has 2 full bathrooms one of which has a Jacuzzi tub as well as walk in shower. Kitchen is fully outfitted with refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, electric range and oven, dishwasher, microwave oven, stainless steel sink, washer and dryer. Gas grill is also provided. Dining area seats 4 - 6 persons, den has luxurious leather furniture, stacked stone fireplace with Franklin stove, and Cable/Satellite TV, and VCR/DVR and High Speed Internet. Front and rear screened porches provide additional seating for dining and relaxing.

Why the Owner Chose Dandridge
We did not buy this property as a vacation rental, we bought it as a second home for ourselves. We needed a place where we could escape from our business and relax.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
We especially enjoy the cooler weather, lake activities, country setting, and having a place for our dog to roam. Especially in winter, we love quiet times reading a novel by the fireplace, visiting historic areas, Gatlinburg and Dollywood.

My husband and I purchased this property as a getaway for ourselves and our family members. We continue to enjoy all seasons for vacationing at this property. We have enjoyed visits with grandchildren here and watched their delight at learning new things about nature firsthand.

A truly wonderful place to spend a vacation. The lake affords many opportunities for fishing, boating, etc. Everything was as described in the listing. The little town of Dandridge is charming with some very good restaurants. We did some fishing and lots of reading and relaxing on the back porch. We would love to come again!!
Recommended for:Age 55+.

We had a fantastic week and we are not ready to leave! It was great sitting on the back porch having coffe in the mornings and then watching the sunset in the evenings. It was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg, yet close enough to spend the day enjoying the activities.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, pet owners, age 55+.
