This luxury villa rental includes the gracious staff of 14 who will cater to your every need. Silent Waters Villa is selected, perhaps more than any other private villa in Jamaica by brides for a destination villa wedding. Additionally, other luxury villas are located within close proximity for hosting other guests within the wedding party.
Silent Waters is located on one of the highest mountaintops overlooking Montego Bay and the Caribbean Sea. The site consists of 18 acres, secured with a sophisticated electronic security and video system - twelve buildings, helicopter pad, private tennis court and two swimming pools occupy five acres. Five villa suites (9 air-conditioned bedrooms) accommodate as many as 18 guests. With the addition of the owner's private villa (1 air conditioned bedroom) up to 20 guests may be accommodated. Each suite has its own patio with chaise lounges for sunning and relaxation, and most suites have their own air conditioner and ceiling fans, wet bar, telephone, stereo system, high speed wireless Internet service, LCD High Definition television with DVD player and IPOD docking station. The entire property is rented to only one party of guests at any given time, thereby providing complete seclusion and privacy for the guests.
Four PGA class golf courses are within a 30-minute drive. Beaches, water activities and shopping are located within a 15-minute drive from the villa. Silent Waters is a superb location for a family reunion, corporate retreat, destination wedding (seating 54 guests) or just a small group of friends seeking a most unusual holiday experience.

Year Purchased: 1998
Our home is in Illinois where we stay busy with our family and friends, our dog and horses, and our petrochemical trading business. We love to travel and we have travelled around the world embracing the different cultures and sights. We built Silent Waters Villa as a vacation get-away to share with family and friends. We selected Jamaica as it is a destination that is not too far away from home and can be visited often. We are avid tennis players and felt that a private tennis court at the villa was a must. We are so happy to share our piece of paradise with those that enjoy a luxurious and relaxing retreat.
Why the Owner Chose Montego Bay
We always loved Jamaica and its culture and had friends that felt the same. One of these friends decided to get away from the fast pace of Chicago and he built Destiny Villa. We always enjoyed visiting Jamaica and Destiny Villa. After a number of years we decided it was time to build our own villa on the hilltop above Destiny Villa. Jamaica is an ideal vacation spot as it is only a few hours from the Chicago area. The location of Silent Waters is perfect with a 330-degree panoramic view of Montego Bay and beautiful views of the Great River and surrounding hillsides.
The Unique Benefits of this Villa
We love the privacy, security, the views and our staff! The private tennis court enables us to play tennis anytime of the day. The villa is decorated with an exquisite collection of Asian and Oriental art antiquities, furnishings and carpets that we found in our travels and we love the mixture of Balinese and Thai-style architecture. We also really enjoy the gourmet meals that our chef prepares and just relaxing by the pool or visiting with friends in the pavilion. It is our home away from home.
