  Our group of three couples was pleasantly surprised at how well stocked and spacious the house was. From the spices, to the coffee, dishes, TV's and dog beds, we couldn't have been happier with our stay. We will definitely return with our four-legged friends.

  We chose the Aurora House for our annual family beach trip and would definitely return. From the beginning and when needed during our stay the owner was easy to get a hold of and answered all our questions and took care of any concerns quickly. House was as represented and then some. It is a pet friendly house, but there were no odors or signs from pet use or odors of any kind. Very clean! Besides plenty of basic supplies we appreciated the very well stocked kitchen, abundance of extra pillows and quilts and even shampoo, conditioner and soaps in all the bathrooms! Lots of room to spread out in the two main-level living rooms. The kids hung out in the more casual side while the adults took the formal living room which looks to have been updated since the pictures with big modern couches and two comfy recliners. It was nice for the kids to have the downstairs play room area as well. Wonderful long dining room table so we could all sit together for meals. For watching TV each bedroom had a nice size flat screen and there was a very large one in the living room we used for a movie night. The only drawback for our group was the upper bedroom with the queen and twin beds is open on one corner to the living room area below so wasn't as quiet as it could have been for those sleeping there. It would have been good to have some sort of option to close it off or keep it open as needed. But all the beds were very comfortable and there were lots of sleeping options / rooms so might not be an issue for other groups. Another extra was the high quality linens. Very nice! Although it was not a negative for us, the picture did not accurately represent the view over the dunes for our stay, but the dunes can change drastically from year to year so best to ask about it and any changes in beach access at the time of your stay. Grocery / deli within neighborhood, nice quiet area, community pool about 8 houses away, take 15min walk on beach and see seals resting on the beach. This house is well taken care of and filled with lots of extras. Would highly recommend.

I would love to tell my friends all about it but then I'm afraid your calendar would fill up so fast I wouldn't be able to get in again ... I'm just kidding.   Our family has been coming to this house for the past 2 years! Best house ever for the whole family! Kid friendly, clean and wonderful!!! I would recommend this house to anyone travelling with kids or a large group!!

  We do an annual beach family vacation. Started 18 years ago. Our family has grown and new generations are added. This is our 4th year at this home and we LOVE it. We will be back next year and can't wait!!!

  Aurora House was a great fit for our 9 adults and 1 baby. enjoyed fabulous dinners at the large table, and open layout was nice for us all to be together. All in all a great trip enjoyed be everyone. We were astounded by the large number of pillows in Aurora House. this prompted the great pillow count of 2010. In the whole house we counted 101 pillows!!!! Really in the lap of luxury!!!
