Our 2 BR, 2.5 Bath Windswept Lakeside Townhouse on Kiawah Island, South Carolina, is appointed with Hardwood floors on the 1st floor, carpet on the 2nd, and is professionally decorated. The villa has its own driveway and Covered Parking under the townhouse with additional parking spaces in front. The 1st floor has a fully equipped Kitchen, Living Room with queen size sleeper sofa, new Media Alcove with HD LCD television, DVD player, iPod player, Dining Room that seats 6, Powder Room and deck overlooking Night Heron Lake. The 2nd floor has two bedrooms, one with a King Bed and the other with 2 Twins. Each bedroom has a Private Bath, TV & either DVD player or VCR. This villa is across the street from Kiawah's beautiful 10 mile beach and a short walk to the Night Heron Park, Bike Shop, Nature Center, East Beach Village & the Sanctuary hotel. Our guests also enjoy secure, Wireless, High-Speed Internet access and an eclectic collection of Books, Puzzles and Games to enjoy during your stay. Why the Owner Chose Windswept Villas
We fell in love with Kiawah after vacationing on the island with friends in 1987. After that trip we introduced our extended family to Kiawah and came as often as possible, staying in the Old Inn, rental villas and homes. Leaving was always so sad, and we wished for the day when we could have a place at Kiawah to call our own. Now we enjoy sharing our little slice of Kiawah heaven with other families, so they can also make their family memories here. We appreciate the security of gated access, the 10 miles of flat, soft sandy beach, the amazing emphasis placed on preservation of wildlife, flora and fauna, the respectful architectural planning that continues to allow Kiawah's natural beauty to be the real showcase, and of course, the bike paths. We love our biking adventures at Kiawah, even 23 years after our first visit, because while getting great exercise we are able to safely explore the island's nooks and crannies, taking in fabulous scenery and every year discovering more of the island's hidden gems.

When we walk through our front door and see the serene view of Night Heron Lake we feel immediately relaxed. Our villa affords great views of the lake and the comings and goings of other visitors across the bridge that spans the lake. Our book and game collection is a favorite with our rental guests, and the iPod player in the living room is also very popular. Visitors agree that the two story layout of the Windswept Lakeside townhouses is the best they can find on Kiawah, with the living areas downstairs and the bedrooms upstairs. Guests also appreciate the first floor powder room - a unique feature in these townhomes. Covered parking is a great bonus in the hot summer months!
