The property is located within a few seconds from Kuau Bay beach and less than one minute from the world-class windsurfing beach of Ho'okipa Beach. Located right behind Mama's Fish House (#1 beach front restaurant on island) and next to historic Paia Town (1.1 mile), Kaiholo Hale is away from the bustle of Maui’s big resorts yet a short drive to the Kahului Airport, great shops, and all of the best North Shore beaches. Kaiholo Hale, with Spanish tile floors and brand new teak furniture, has 4 separate suites: three 1-bedroom suites and one 2-bedroom suite.
Each suite has one to two bathrooms, fully-equipped modern kitchens and living rooms with large TVs, DVD players, and CD stereos. Brand new a/c units in each bedroom and living room. Four of the bedrooms have king-size beds and one a queen-size bed with full size brand new sleeper sofas in each living room. Wireless high speed internet access throughout the house. Each unit has a private lanai with BBQ and outdoor furniture. Covered parking and on-site laundry facilities (2 washers & 2 dryers).

"The Kaiholo Hale was perfect for our family reunion of 13 people. The separate suites were much larger than we had expected and were well suited for your needs. It was great having laundry facilities and several bathrooms. It was a nice quiet area with a nice small beach close by. We had excellent customer service when we had problems with one of the bbqs and were assured that if any problems arose, to call right away and it would be attended to. I highly recommend this unit for either individual suite rental or renting the whole house family get togethers."

"We rented the entire house for our family. Mom and Dad, 3 sons with 2 spouses, 5 grand kids + 2 family friends, 14 total. We tend to congregate, eat... in the Orchid Suite. We love the place and feel we have created a life long memory for our family. We could not have found a better place to stay. Location, accommodation, Anne & David very helpfull... We had a little rain, but wait 10 minutes, it will stop. It also made to Road to Hana even more beautiful.

"This was a perfect spot for our family. We were celebrating our 30th anniversary and brought our 3 adult children and their spouses/fiance along. Each "couple" had some privacy but we opened the areas up and shared several meals. Loved the North Shore! We enjoyed many fun mornings and afternoons at Baldwin Beach which was just a short trip from Kaiholo Hale. We loved that we were in a home and not a hotel. We went to the store and ate most breakfast, lunch and several dinner meals from home. We did splurge and had an awesome dinner at Mama's Fish House which was just a short walk. Paia is a darling town and we ate a couple of meals at Charley's and a couple at Flatbread. There were so many extra touches that made us feel at home -- shampoo, conditioner, shower gel in each bathroom; small coolers for our day trips; beach chairs and body boards; a huge family-size grill. All of these made our stay wonderful. Have already told many about this wonderful place. The only regreat we have is that we did not keep a portion of this home when all the kids left. My husband and I moved to the "South" part of the island and it was not as pleasant. Too much noise and hustle. Our next Maui trip will definitely be back on the North Shore."

Why the Owner Chose Paia
I always wanted to own and run a Vacation Rental or B&B. When the opportunity came to me I took it.
The North Shore of Maui is my home so it all fit perfectly. Paia is the coolest town on Maui and is only a mile from Kaiholo Hale.The proximity to the beach and all the great restaurants that the North Shore has to offer made my decision pretty easy.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Staying at Kaiholo Hale gives my guests a chance to vacation away from the hustle and bustle of the South and West side tourist areas. Easy access to the airport, great local shopping and dining and of course the world class surfing and windsurfing at Hookipa Beach just a minutes drive or 5 minute walk. Only 1.5 hours to Hana or Haleakala Crater makes those trips easier and more enjoyable. Easy access to all the North Shore beaches just five minutes away. Every modern comfort is available with brand new furnishings, great beds and everything you could need for a great vacation.

I have lived on Maui for 20 years and love it. I arrived here in 1989 and opened the first Vegetarian Restaurant in Hawaii and ran it until 2002. Having been a chef for many years I decided it was time for a change.
I purchased the property where Kaiholo Hale now stands after selling my restaurant.
I built it from the ground up over the next two years and opened to my first guests in the summer of 2004. My goal was to provide clean, modern, comfortable and affordable accommodations for people from around the world.
In addition to Kaiholo Hale I am developing environmentally friendly communities on The Big Island
