Inspired by an Austrian Chalet, this is a large mountainside home on the Eagle Vail golf course, minutes from Vail and Beaver Creek.
Main level description: The main level has a dramatic cathedral ceiling with a wall of windows facing across the valley. It is an open floor plan with the kitchen, dining room and living room all interacting with each other. The living room has comfortable couches with a pair of side chairs, coffee table and other seating, all oriented toward a wood burning fireplace and the fabulous view. In this area and elsewhere in the home, you will find exposed beams which give the home a mountain lodge feel. The dining area is outfitted with a large wood table with 8 chairs. The kitchen has all the cooking utensils that one would need. There is an eating bar with 4 bar stools. There is also a large wrap around deck overlooking the golf course and the aspen filled mountains beyond and a charcoal grill for your outdoor cooking pleasure.
Bedroom descriptions: There is a master bedroom suite on the lower level with a queen sized bed, seating area and private balcony. The bathroom has twin sinks, walk in shower, and a double Jacuzzi.
The two bedrooms upstairs face the wooded mountainside with plenty of privacy. Each has a full bath. In one there is a king sized bed and there are twin beds in the other. The top of stair landing has a dramatic view of the open living area below and the front windows.

Stayed 19 days and it was wonderful. Easy to communicate with owner when first arrived to smooth out getting to know the place. All plumbing worked great, kitchen was well stocked, lots of dishes and utensils. Great location, right between Beaver Creek and Vail. No complaints. Have fun.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

This house was perfect for two families. Seven people very comfortably enjoyed this very well kept house. Every room has a bathroom. We were minutes from Vail, Beaver Creek, Avon and a 40 minute drive to Leadville and the 14ers. When we return to CO we will certainly inquire about this property.
