We had a wonderful time at S. Padre and the condo was very comfortable. We had everything we needed plus some! The view of the beach and pools was a plus. Jackie was just wonderful. If you did need anything she would be on it immediately. Having the 2nd bathroom was a plus being that most l bedroom condos do not have this luxury.....I will be staying in this condo again!

Recommended for:Girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

This condo was perfect for your family! We have two little ones, ages 5 and 1 1/2, the condo was perfect. We were able to keep our routine with meals and sleeping but still enjoy vacation time. The beach was so close that we could run back to the room easily if needed. And our 5 yr old was amazed that we had 3 pools! The condo was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen had all the necessities! Jackie was such a sweetheart. She took great care of us! We enjoyed our entire stay on the Island. I love mexican food, so for my birthday the family took me to The Big Donkey, it was wonderful!! Best Mexican food I've had in a long time. Our girls enjoyed the Sea Turtle Rescue, we adopted a hatchling while there. They also loved fishing at the pier at Pirates Landing and watching the dolphins. It was a very memorable family vacation! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

I just wanted to Thank you for sharing your condo with us. I stayed here with a few friends and had a GREAT vacation! The condo is clean and has been updated. I wasn't sure what the last review was referring to....I thought the bed was VERY comfortable....so comfortable, that the only thing getting me out of bed was knowing the ocean was right out the window. The view is spectacular! We enjoyed nights on the balcony for a beautiful ocean view, and watching the fireworks out the front door, looking over the Bay side! The complex was great! We enjoyed a delicious burger at the Tiki Hut down by the pool, as well as a drink at the bar. Great pools and hot tubs! The condo has GREAT location! It's right by the bridge, so its a quick drive to Port Isabel! It is also walking distance to some great spots. We enjoyed Captain Roy's Restaurant for dinner and Yummie's for breakfast. Both within walking distance! I would recommend to anyone going to South Padre, to stay here. In fact, we've already talked our friends into vacationing here and staying at this same condo! We are planning to return this fall!

Not terrible but not great

We stayed here June 4-8. Overall, the complex is very nice; well maintained grounds, clean pools, and the beach is great. However, I was not as impressed with the actual condo. The condo is pretty well-stocked and has been updated at first glance, but then you begin to notice what has NOT been updated and they stand out: kitchen appliances are original (but work), bathrooms have not been updated, doorknobs are old, sticky and rusty, deadbolts don’t lock. The condo is clean but really needs a DEEP clean: baseboards, air vents, ceiling fans, lamps shades were all covered in dust. All of this we could maybe overlook but our MAIN complaint was the mattress. It must be at least 15 years old. Hard, lumpy, squeaky, springs poking us in the back; we did not sleep well at all. (I was surprised this was not mentioned at all in other reviews, which makes we wonder who wrote them….friends, maybe?) Setting up the reservations and getting the keys from the manager Jackie was great. She was very friendly and helpful. And to her credit, when we checked out, she asked point blank for feedback about the condo. We told her about the mattress (this was the only thing we told her, since it’s the reason we would not return to this unit) and she said she would pass that info on to the owner. I appreciated that. In summary, I would stay at Saida but look for another unit next time, until some more updates are made to this one.

Owner response:This is a beach condo. For the price it is fine. If you want the plush mattress go to the finest hotels. We strive for family atmosphere and peaceful fun.

I went on vacation to South Padre last week....and it was amazing. A group of my friends went down and stayed at this condo, it was great. We arrived on Saturday afternoon and had no problems getting from the airport to the condo and right to the beach! The place was excellent. Very close to lots of action. There was a CVS very close by. Lots of good breakfast joints (Bada Bing was my favorite!). Tequilla Sunset and Loiues were some fun bars we checked out, and you must go to Captain Roy's for dinner!!! So yummy! All in all we had an excellent time. The condo was great, very spacious and clean. It was a quite area which was nice for a relaxing vacation! Thanks!

Incredible View

Just returned from a week at Saida with a group of friends over Memorial Day. The condo was incredible! It includes just about everything you can think of (towels and a cooler for beach, just to name a few). The beach and pools were great! A nice bar and snack shack nect to the main pool. However, the best part was the view! The sunrise over the Gulf of Mexico and the Sunset over the bay can't be beat! We spent hours every night sitting on the balcony enjoying the wonderful weather and great view. The location is great, as it is close to shops, restaurants/bars, and the South Padre Island Shuttle. Had an amazing time, Can't wait to return!

Best Time Ever!

I had never been to South Padre and I came here to spend 5 nights with my 6 closest friends. We all stayed in this condo and everyone had a pillow to rest their head on at night and something to sleep on weather it be an air mattress or a bed. We stayed home and made dinner a couple evenings and had plenty of space to store our food and prepare meals. The balcony is my favorite part! We would eat out there or just sit and chat! We had our best times out on the balcony with the beautiful view. The beach is very close and easy to access. Overall, the condo was clean and made for a great location for our trip to South Padre. I will come again and again, I love this place!

I spent 5 days at this condo and absolutely loved it! The interior was clean and well-supplied, but I must say, my favorite part was the view from the balcony!!! I also enjoyed the convenience to the beach, as well as to numerous places to dine. Thanks for sharing your condo, it was a great treat!

Just got back from 4 days in this unit. It looks just like the posted photos and is exactly as described. Very clean. Tennis courts in perfect condition. All 3 pools are great! Didn't try the hot tubs since it was 90 degrees out. Easy beach access. Definitely recommend! I would like to go back again.

Just wanted to thank you for sharing your wonderful condo with us. Upon arrival we were greeted by Jackie, the condo manager. After showing us around and leaving her cell she clued us in on what to do and where to eat ( We prefer to eat where the "locals" go while on vacation) so, it was nice to have her suggestions. My family and I loved your condo, there was everthing we needed, even beach towels, which we forgot to pack. The grounds were beautiful, pools were sparkling clean and more importantly there was an ever presence of security. Having the laundry room and "garbage drop" on the same floor as our condo was also a plus. We will be back next year to once again take in the beautiful view, unforgetable sunrises over the Gulf of Mexico and the most romantic sunsets over the bay! Once again, Thank you Nancy!!
