  My first PCB/Ft. Walton area visit. I was impressed of the area. Secluded and quiet area, away from the tourist crazy big city. Overall a great place with perfect accommodations for my family. The property was clean and well maintained and owner was helpful. The location is in-between super nice upscale towns/subdivisions off 30A - great scenery. The only downfall is you must be prepared with groceries and ice upon arrival and/or anticipate on driving a short drive to the local grocery store in town, which is not a bad drive at all.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

Yes, while there are local cafes/restaurants nearby, the closest grocery store is Publix in Seagrove Beach, which is 6 miles from the property. One of the great features that we love about the 30A area is that it is quaint and not crowded with commercial business. Thanks again for your positive review.   WOW! This property was a perfect spot for our group. The home is beautiful, incredibly clean, and so well stocked. The owner has thought of everything one might need for a week's stay.....we had to get nothing. The house is tastefully decorated and well-equipped with tv's in all of the bedrooms. The owner was a delight to work with and went out of her way to answer any questions and to ensure that our stay was perfect.....and perfect it was. We didn't really know what to expect and we were pleasantly surprised as to the quality of the home and everything in it. I have read all of the reviews here and TOTALLY disagree with the last one that was very negative. There ARE gulf views in the house, it is nicely decorated, and the owner was fabulous to work with. One of our group members is an elderly gentleman of 83 years and can be hard to please at times. He LOVED the property and said he could not imagine how any other home could surpass the experience that we had. If we ever go back to Destin we will definitely stay there again. It is also reasonably priced for what you get. SUPERB!

  We were very happy with our experience at It's a Breeze. The unit was sparkling clean, the location was as close to perfect as you can get; steps from the beach, a quiet area away from the busy traffic on 30A. We went to sleep every night listening to the surf. The location was appr. 2 miles west of Rosemary Beach, an absolutely delightful downtown area on the beach with outdoor cafes and shops. We've already reserved our spot for next year.

  Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

  We loved our stay at this property, it was more then my husband expected and once he saw the place he never again mentioned price. The house was beautiful, the neighborhood very nice and peaceful. Having the beach supplies was a plus To top it off the owner was very good to work with and we really appreciated that. Maybe the picture should be updated, but I never put total faith in them anyway and never even realized the difference until reading the review. All other pictures accurately reflected the appearance of townhouse. Would stay here again, just not when it's 100+ outside.

  This is a wonderful property and so close to the beach. It is in a very nice neighborhood and the beach is more private and not crowded at all. The unit is tastefully decorated, kitchen fully stocked, and there were a few extras that we didn’t anticipate (i.e. a nice flat screen TV in the living room, wine cooler, gas grill, beach stuff – floats, large rolling cooler, chairs). The lay-out of the unit worked really well for us, two couples on the 3rd floor, four kids on the 1st floor, so everyone had their own space and privacy. The location was ideal because it is just 5 minutes to Rosemary Beach, 5 minutes to Seaside, and 20 minutes to Pier Park in PCB, which provided plenty of options for everyone in our group. The price was also much more affordable than many places we considered in the area this close to the beach. We loved it and our group gives it 5 stars.

  We vacationed at this property from 5/28/2011 to 6/4/2011. We couldn't have picked a better place for our vacation. Our family has vacationed in the area along 30A for years. One of our friends recommended this place to us primarily because of the location, gulf views, and proximity to the beach (also no busy roads to cross which is ideal for families, children, pets). The unit is very nicely furninshed and was just perfect for out party of 8. It is also fairly priced. We were more than pleased with the property and had a great time. DPB-Atlanta

  The pictures in this ad are OLD. There is now a house directly in front of the townhome that blocks 90% of the advertised "beach view." The next-door neighbor told us the house had been there the past four years--how old are these pictures? The walk to the beach is much longer than 50 yards--at least double that. There is no TV in the downstairs bedroom. You have to walk through the "bonus room" (a converted garage with no air conditioning vent) to get to the back bedroom. The furniture was faded, plants needed dusting, and internet access was spotty. A pipe burst in the middle of the night, and our family spent two hours cleaning up water. We alerted the property owner to the problem, saving her potentially thousands of dollars for expenses she could have incurred due to flood damage. When we called the owner to express our concerns, she hung up on us. Our "relaxing" beach vacation was anything but.

  Owner response: This vacationer exaggerated/fabricated issues it appears to get a discount rental (their complaints started the last day of their vacation). There was simply no broken pipe, but there was a small leak in the toilet that my plumber fixed in 5 minutes (and within 1 hour of the guest's request), which AJ's Plumbing can verify. The high speed wireless internet access is via Mediacom, a trusted provider in the area. The property is located about 50 yards from the beach (see map). I've never had another guest complain about the gulf views or distance of the walk to the beach. The furnishings in the unit are updated and quality (his comments are simply untrue). There are a total of 4 TVs in the unit. My property management company called me immediately upon this guest's departure to inform me that they were problem renters based the condition they left the property. Our feedback from all other guests over the years has been extremely positive, and we have strong referrals and repeat vacationers.
