Alternative to an Inn
If you want total privacy and a lot of space, this could be a better choice than staying at an Inn. Often the Inns around Hudson are full, especially during wedding season. Our guests have mainly been people who originally wanted to stay at an Inn but ended up in this apartment and were extremely happy. You feel both in the middle of this gorgeous little town and very private with a large deck and view of the Catskills.
Longer Stays
Our apartment is ideal for someone who is looking to stay in a furnished apartment for a longer stay. It is much cheaper than a hotel and has a wonderful kitchen and spacious rooms. Visiting professors at Bard or writers in need of a quiet place to get work done would find our place very suitable. We've set it up to be a comfortable, longer stay get-away or temporary home.

Year Purchased: 2004
Michael Albin and Marianne Courville moved to Columbia County full-time in 2001. We bought our building in Hudson in 2004 and opened Hudson Wine Merchants on the ground floor and the Marianne Courville Gallery on the third floor. We have a passion for art, wine and food (and yoga!). We have loved getting to know the amazing people and organizations in the area. We lived on the 2nd floor until last year when we set our home roots a little further away from our business. We now rent the 2nd floor as a lovingly maintained furnished apartment with an enormous and beautiful outdoor deck. All our guests have been extremely happy staying here in the heart of historic Hudson.
