The property is located about 2 miles off Rt 30. Rawsonville is the closest town with a convenient store, pizza shop, ski shop, and snowboard/bike shop. Bondville and Londonderry are also very close with more stores to choose from including Clark's IGA, Winhall Market, The Pantry and all your everyday needs.

The house is a beautiful custom built 3 Bedroom home with 2 full bathrooms, and a 2 car garage with 10 acres of very private land. A large pond for ice skating during the winter, and fishing and swimming during the summer along with an early 1900’s barn are also on the property. The house is recently decorated, but still keeps a true Vermont charm, from a large roaring fireplace in the living room to a great screened in porch to relax and read overlooking the pond. The Winhall River is right at the end of the driveway stocked with trout and salmon.

The house is a great retreat in all seasons. It is 3 miles from the Stratton Mountain Access Road, and only 11 miles from Bromley. Whether you are looking for some of the best skiing on the east coast during the winter, or fishing, biking, hiking, rafting, hunting during the warmer months it is all at your fingertips if you want it to be. The Bromley Fun Park is also great for kids. This home is also great for romantic getaways or just to relax and escape from your daily routine.

Year Purchased: 1997

I live and work in New York City, but try to get up to our house at Stratton as much as possible. It is a perfect retreat from the city. The Stratton area offers a ton to do if you want, but it is also so easy to curl up with a book by the fire. This is an amazing house that was hand built by my uncle, who was a very talented carpenter. It is a very special place to my family and most everyone that visits. I rarely have friends turn down an invitation to come to the house for the weekend / week.

This house was built by my uncle and the property has been in our family for years.
