I am able to be very competitive in pricing compared to other units because: 1) I own the unit myself 2) I own a Real Estate and property management company on island 3) I have great contacts, communication, and the ability to provide solutions to any issues that could possibly come up. By avoiding the large rental fees that owners must pay to a large management company, I can cut a large percentage off the price. My company itself is successful because we can do the same work as a large company for much less, not to mention doing a better and more personal job with service. I am willing to cut deals for longer stays!!
This particular unit is located at the foot of the Marina. It faces due East with unobstructed views towards St. John, while letting you watch the marina action. See when the fishermen come in and walk on down to buy your fresh fish! It also allows the breezes to blow directly into the unit, as winds in St. Thomas come from the East. Yes, it is at Sapphire Beach Resort condominium. Many you see under this section are NOT at Sapphire Beach Resort. They are the older and less desirable Sapphire Hill Village or Crystal Cove units.
This does have a great AC system should you choose to use it. This location is just a minutes walk to the huge and wonderful sandy beach and pool on property at Sapphire. It has its own private parking area not shared by the other buildings, so you can park right next to the unit. Being on the second floor, it provides extra security over the ground floor units and also provides the height for a better view.
The arrangement consists of a king sized bed and desk in the 'master' area. There are four large wood sliders that separate this room from the living room (if you choose to use them). The 'main room' has a glass dining table with four chairs, brand new sofa (with convertible queen bed) and two additional chairs. A full kitchen stretches length-wise along one of the walls. A large entertainment center with the flat screen TV, stereo, and DVD is in the corner. Two large sliders open to the porch, which hosts two comfortable chairs and a table for your afternoon cocktails. The bathroom, with full tub, is located near the entryway, along with a full sized closet for storing your clothes and suitcases so they are out of the way. There is also a working safe in the closet for your valuables.
If you are not familiar with Sapphire or St. Thomas in general, just let me know if you have any questions. This property has an incredible beach, but even more intriguing is the waters just off of it. It holds great snorkeling, coral, fish, and wildlife. It is just a two minutes drive to the quaint town of Red Hook, which has shopping, restaurants, bars, and ferry access to St. John and the British Virgin Islands.
There are countless activities on property, particularly because you are right at the marina. Fishing, sailing, powerboats, jetskis, parasailing- you name it. The island itself has even more, with excellent shopping, great restaurants, hiking, and nightlife.
This unit is also available for time frames of longer than one week, and I will offer good deals with people for multi-weeks and/or monthly rentals. I manage another property here at Sapphire along with numerous other condos and homes around the island, too. So if the calendar is booked, feel free to contact me regarding other possibilities.

We really enjoyed our time at Sapphire. We were spending a couple of nights before our bareboat charter in the BVI's. We wanted to be close to Red Hook and Sapphire fits the bill there. The unit is accurately described in the listing, is well maintained and clean. Kirk and his colleague Cara were both very helpful with questions before the trip and keeping us up to date with information about payments arriving, etc. It's easy to get around the Red hook area with reasonable costs on the cab from Red Hook/Sapphire and the $1.00 safari bus. The pool is very nice, the view can't be beat. The restaurant there at the pool is closed but you can still get food, servers come around and will take your order. In Red Hook there are many restaurants to choose from, we enjoyed dinner at the East End Cafe and at The Cellar, basically the same chef/kitchen with two different menus, very good food, service and super cool bathrooms! We also enjoyed sandwiches from Marina Market. If you are planning on cooking in the condo, Marina Market is very well stocked and had excellent produce and lots of choices on many items. We really liked the view from the patio, overlooking the marina, we like boats so it was cool to be able to watch the comings and goings. At least two different day sails operations leave from right there, very convenient if you're looking for that sort of activity. The security at Sapphire was also good, we felt safe. We highly recommend the condo, we'd rent it again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

This condo was very nice for a family of four (two girls on the sofa bed). Everything was as described and the owner was very responsive and helpful. It was reassuring to know that the owner lives on the island. The balcony had a nice view. The condo is located next to the marina which is handy (but not too noisy). I would recommend this property. Sapphire Beach Resort is a great place for a family: snorkeling, pool, beach, marina/watersports. The town of Red Hook is minutes away. While small, the town has a good dive shop, grocery, a diverse selection of good restaurants, and the ferry to St. John (an easy day trip).Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

The condo offers a confortable, clean, cozy environment with a nice size patio. You will also have beautiful views of the marina and St.John in the distance. The location is close to Red Hook, which gives you access to the drug store, restaurants and the market. The unit is just a stones throw away from the breakfast coffee cart, on premise restaurant, beach and pool. Security is excellent and you will have no problem with reasonable transportation. If you chose to stay in and cook you will find the kitchen is well equipped. We found the area to be quiet and of course the price is right! The owner is readily available to assist.. We found this property to be extremely comfortable and clean. The beautiful beach and large pool are here and activity in the marina is interesting to watch.. Boat tours, fishing and even hang gliding are available. .The owner provided his own books and CD's for our use. Extra pillows for the couch and deck chairs made for our comfort. If you do not have a car the restaurant in Sapphire Village is good, and they deliver. The owner of our condo anticipated our needs and was very helpful. We have recommended this condo to both friends and family and we also hope to return.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

The description of this condo is accurate. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The Caribbean breeze, mostly from the east, blows right through the unit. This is a BONUS. The owner is extremely helpful and service oriented.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

The room was great! The A/C was cold and everything was real clean. It's a very short $4.00 cab ride to Red Hook where you will find some really good dining and a very well stocked market. The room is well equipped for cooking your own meals if you wish. The marina is right outside the door which has several excursion boats and jet ski rentals. The owner was very helpful with any questions I had and was gracious enough to let my wife and I check out late on the last day due to our late flight. First class place! I will certainly be booking this room again the next time I am in St. Thomas!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

I love Sapphire because it has the beaches and boating in one location, combined with incredible views facing the prevalent tradewinds. It is also close to Red Hook for nightlife and restaurants.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
This unit is much nicer than most others you will see. It has some brand new high quality porcelain tile that looks like travertine / marble. It is extremely clean and has just been freshly painted in a very light yellow color, so it is not the stagnant and boring white on white like the other units. I am on island to deal with any issues immediately, which is a HUGE advantage over other rental properties on VRBO where you have absentee owners and managers.
