Ka’anapali Royal is located on the 16th fairway of the Kaanapali Golf Course, in the center of the Ka’anapali Resort. The upscale condo complex has low-rise buildings and is very relaxing with lots of open green space and tropical gardens. Our quiet, spacious, top floor unit has an excellent ocean view and overlooks the pool and golf course. Enjoy amazing sunsets while you sip a Mai Tai on our huge lanai.
It's a short 5 to 10 minute stroll to Whalers Village and the world famous Kaanapali Beach, voted the third best beach in the world by Conde Nast Magazine. Whaler’s Village offers a variety of stores and great restaurants. Kaanapali Royal guests enjoy the resort golf discount. "Black Rock", located on Kaanapali Beach, offers excellent snorkeling. It is only a short drive to historical downtown Lahaina for excellent dining, art galleries and shopping.
Our privately owned condo has over 1600 square feet of living space with air conditioning plus a wonderful huge lanai with BBQ overlooking the pool with a great ocean view. It is centrally located in the complex with close access to the pool, spa and tennis courts. Our top floor unit is easily accessible since the parking lot walkway takes you to the 2nd floor.
We are a short set of steps up one level to great views. The downstairs entrance takes you into the living areas including a large living room, fully equipped kitchen, dining room and laundry with full size washer/dryer. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa, 36" TV, free broadband internet, DVD, VCR, stereo and great views. One bedroom with attached full bathroom, queen bed, and private lanai is also downstairs.
Upstairs we have a very spacious master bedroom and full bathroom with vaulted ceilings & fan, ocean views, king bed, futon sleeper, TV, and DVD/VCR.
The gated condo complex has secure parking. There are also two tennis/basketball courts, a large pool, 2 gas grills and outdoor dining area, and Jacuzzi. K. Royal is the perfect spot for your vacation in a serene and relaxing atmosphere, it's never crowded. You will always have a lounge chair by the pool! Very close to the beach yet about half the price of oceanfront condos, much quieter and much larger units.

Why the Owner Chose Kaanapali Royal
The most attractive aspect of buying in Ka’anapali Royal was of course the location. We love the ocean views and being so close to the beach without having all the noise and foot traffic of being oceanfront. Another deciding factor was the size of the condo being so large at 1,600 interior square feet, plus a huge 350 square foot lanai. We've stayed in many, many condos throughout the islands and most are small, square and feel like an apartment. We love the vaulted ceilings and no noise above us being on the top floor, plus enjoy the nicest views in the complex. The complex is friendly, quiet and beautifully maintained.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
The best thing about our complex is it's never crowded so you can always get a chair by the pool! It's nice to get the resort golf discount at the Ka’anapali courses and be in close walking distance to great restaurants, shops, spas and the beach. We love our morning walks down to Black Rock and along the beach walkway then back up the hill to home.....a great workout!
Upscale shopping and restaurants, free Hula shows, oceanfront dining, Catamaran sunset cruises pick up right at Dig Me Beach.
Walk to some of the best snorkeling on the island right in front of the Sheraton Black Rock. Cliff diving and tiki torch ceremony every night at sunset. Great swimming beach for the family.
Inexpensive family dining (Round Table pizza, Chinese, CJ's deli) plus Gold's Gym, Coffee cafe, Ice cream, and Zipline adventures in the center with a few other small clothing and other shops.
This shopping mall has many family restaurants, shops, bookstore and free hula shows.
This is one of the nicest markets on the island! (sort of like a Whole Foods)

Lauri and I were married on Maui in 1991 because we love it so much! We returned to the island a few times a year so decided to buy our "home away from home" in 2003. Since we live in the San Francisco Bay Area of California, it's a short flight to Maui for us and we enjoy coming to our condo several times a year. We keep the condo well maintained, well stocked and have made it feel warm like you're staying in a friend's home instead of a corporate rental unit. We hope you enjoy your stay with us! Being returning visitors to Maui this property was exactly what we needed. Beautiful panoramic ocean views and sunsets from the living room and balcony and the master bedroom. The decor was just perfect and enticing for rest and relaxation. The amenities in the unit gave little reason to go out once you arrived. There was nothing we lacked while staying, it was tastefully decorated, pleenty of reading material, games, and videos for viewing. The owners were very helpful and kind. Shopping and dining were just a short walk away to Whaler's Village or the Kaanapali Shops. It will definitely be my #1 property upon returning.

This was the first time we braved a family trip with adult kids AND five grand kids! It was the perfect trip! We rented two large units very close to each other. This unit was one of them. It was just wonderful. Not only was there plenty of room for the adults but also very accommodating for the little ones. Everyone had their own space which made things really nice. I am late in putting in my review but maybe it is a good thing. My husband and I are currently on vacation at a timeshare unit in Myrtle Beach, SC. While the place is nice, the condo has only the minimal kitchen needs to get by. I mean come on, only one little skillet with no lid? Believe me, as we were, you will be joyfully surprised with the furnishings of this condo. Most everything you could think of in the way of cooking - utensils, dishes, pots & pans, even spices and some condiments are there! I can't tell you how wonderful it was to have so many "little" things at our disposal. Not only that, there are games, books, toys and recreational equipment all there for you to use. The unit itself was in the perfect location. The views and sunsets from the deck were gorgeous and the nifty little barbecue on the deck will cook your brauts to perfection! There are plenty of chairs for everyone and you can look down onto the pool. We loved the pool for the little ones. It is large, warm and never crowded. There are also full tables, chairs and barbecues around the pool. We even had an engagement party for our daughter and her fiance one evening. Last but not least, the rates at this condo are great! You would be hard pressed to find a better deal in Ka'anapali with such spacious accommodations and the owner's are delightful to deal with. Would we come back again? ABSOLUTELY!!

The excellent location provided convenient access to the beach, Whalers Village, and the highway. The accommodations were comfortable and spacious for our family of four. It was a pleasant bonus having beach items including boogie boards and chairs to borrow. I would be happy to rent this unit again.

My family and I took a retirement trip to Maui and stayed at Richard's condo. We had a couple very minor mechanical problems that often arise regardless of where you stay. Richard quickly and efficiently dealt with the issues and the rest of our stay was flawless. The best way to evaluate an owner who rents their condo is not when things go right but when things occasionally go wrong. Richard gets an A+ and I would be happy to stay at his condo again and would recommend his condo and him without reservation.

We just spent one week in this condo with 3 adults, one three year old and a two month old baby. It was a perfect place to stay with small children. There was a crib, highchair that converted to a toddler table and a little stroller. It was very clean with a well supplied kitchen and plenty of dishes and cutlery. The lanai was lovely with its western view over the ocean and perfect sunscreens to help filter the late afternoon sun.We enjoyed our morning coffee and breakfast there as well. The pool is clean and easily accessible from the unit. It has many nice lounges and several shaded tables and chairs. All the instructions and information we received prior to our arrival was detailed and very helpful. There was a binder in the unit with many useful suggestions. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and hope to return again ourselves.

We stayed here in May for a week and loved every minute! The condo is easy to find, large, air conditioned, fully furnished and stocked, faces the pool and very very quiet! I never slept so well in my life! We brought my 2 year old son and he enjoyed the condo, beach, pool and surroundings as well. There were children's toys, movies and a high chair. There is a short walk to the beach, but we did not mind. It was beautiful out and after eating so well, it was good to walk! The beach is beautiful, free, calm and quiet. The owners were great to work with and were very accomodating. We did not have 1 problem with anything at all. I would recommend this rental to anyone. Just perfect!

This was our first private condo rental and I had many questions. The Beck's made everything worry free and provided every detail needed about their condo, complex and things to do in Maui. Their condo unit was very clean and had every comfort of home (plus extras). Their unit had tons of space for our family of five (three teenage kids). The views of the ocean, pool area and golf course are great. The complex is about a 5 to 10 minute walk to shops, restaruants and the beach. If you don't want to walk there is limited free beach parking at each of the beach front hotels (get there early). We would like to thank the Beck's for responding to our questions so quickly and for sharing such a great place to stay. WE WILL STAY THERE AGAIN NEXT TIME WE VISIT MAUI!

Enjoyed the unit & property location very much. Close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Condo was spacious and well set up for cooking, dining & relaxing. Nice to have a BBQ on the lanai as well to prepare some meals. Beach chairs, mats, boogy boards available to use as well a good selection of movies for the younger crowd. The binder with information, some provided by previous guests, was a great help in deciding what to do and places to visit Wonderful view from the lanai to the ocean and the golf course. We enjoyed being able to sit by the pool in the afternoons and read in the quiet surroundings. We traveled over most of the island by rental car and always enjoyed coming back to the condo after the days outing, almost like coming home. Listing info was very accurate and the photos clearly showed the property appearance and surroundings. Owner contacted us the day after we arrived to ensure all was well and we found everything in order. The directions provided by the owner on how to reach the unit were accurate and easy to follow. Great people to deal with. We would love to return to the area and would have no hesitation in recommending the property to friends and relatives.

We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend staying here. An outstanding value. Very nice property that easily accomodated our family of six. The well equiped kitchen and pool side gas grill made home cooking easy. Loved the large lanai overlooking the golf course. Short walk to the beautiful Kaanapali beach and the mall. Kids loved the large waves and jumping off Black Rock. Rick is a very helpful host.
