BAYSIDE is located in the heart of the Northern Oregon Coast. You're only 5 minutes from town for easy access to groceries and many popular local attractions like the Tillamook Cheese Factory and Air Museum. Several State Parks, Trails and Beaches are within easy 5 to 30 minute drives from BAYSIDE on the Three Capes Scenic Route or the Oregon Coast Hwy 101.
The BAYSIDE house is very clean and well appointed. It's a comfortable 1 level 1400 sq ft home with vaulted ceilings, 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths.The 3 separate bedrooms are located together down the hall from the kitchen and living area. The large master bedroom has a deluxe king bed and full bath with a tub/shower. The other 2 bedrooms, one medium size and one small both have deluxe queen beds. The 2nd full "hall" bathroom has a shower and is located near the 2 bedrooms. The laundry is located next to the hall bathroom.
But the unique location and private setting is what separates BAYSIDE from most other places.
It's your own private 2 acres right on the water with gorgeous unobstructed views of the Coast Mountain Range and the upper Tillamook Bay estuary. You can take in all the scenery from inside the house or from covered and uncovered decks and from anywhere outside on the property including the huge Firepit!
The Tides create an everchanging landscape right in front of you as Eagles and Hawks soar overhead and land in the tall Spruce and Alder trees that surroud the property. It's very quiet!
Seasonally you can catch Chinook and Coho Salmon, Cutthroat Trout and more off the Private Dock.
Birdwatching is excellent from BAYSIDE all year, especially from the 135ft walkway to the dock.
When you're at BAYSIDE you'll feel like you're in your own little private paradise...yet you're only 5 minutes from town.
There's so much to do on the Northern Oregon Coast and BAYSIDE is located right in the middle of it all.

Why the Owner Chose Tillamook
BAYSIDE was my private retreat for over 20 years. It first became available as a "Vacation Rental" in August 2009. I bought the property because the location is absolutely incredible. Most boats can reach the Pacific Ocean in 15 minutes or less from the dock. Or you can fish the calmer shallow waters of the upper bay in front of BAYSIDE, where kayakers can enjoy miles of tidal tributaries and sloughs. Or you can fish/crab/clam... in between! Having property on Tillamook Bay with access to the main channel at low tide is rare.
Bottom line...location, location, location!!

Born, raised and lived in Oregon my entire life. I was a full time fishing and hunting guide in the 80's when I found this very unique property I now call BAYSIDE.
I caught this nice #38 lb "King" right in front of BAYSIDE trolling a spinner! Fall Chinook Salmon have been known to reach #60 or #70lbs in the bay.
