Our cozy home is located in the beautiful San Jan mountains, which naturally has incredible views. The home was constructed in 2006 and is the perfect place for that much needed getaway. Pagosa Springs is one of rare places that offers enough activities for the hard core outdoorsman and yet is the dream of those who just need to sit and take in the fresh mountain air.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has an over-sized bar that makes preparing your favorite dinner easy and fun. You can dine at the indoor table or step outside onto the huge covered porch and take in a fantastic view. The local deer show up almost nightly to have a quick snack in the flower beds and be sure not to miss the hot air balloon which arises between 8 am and 9 am. My personal favorite is to curl up on the swing and read the latest novel.
A 42 inch plasma TV, and double snuggler chair is just waiting for you in the living room. There is of course the great fireplace, that will help to create that special intimate evening, or just make memories with the kids relaxing. The open floor plan and large picture windows keep you in touch with nature while indulging in the beautiful mountain views.
The master suite has a king size bed, and the bathroom has a large jetted tub to help soak away the soreness from a long day on the slopes. There is plenty of room to unpack in the second main level bedroom with a full bath close at hand. The upstairs loft has 3 futons and a full bathroom as well. There is a comfortable work space should you need it, and a fun secret space for the little ones to play. The basement can accommodate three vehicles, and has a convenient space for skis, in addition to a hanging rack for those wet ski clothes.

Why the Owner Chose Pagosa Springs
We purchased our property in Pagosa Springs after few visits. This place is perfect for anytime of the year.
Winter is great! Pagosa Springs does have the "Most snow in Colorado" makes for a picture perfect holiday.
Fall has some of the most amazing scenery. There are many trails to drive or hike on so and be sure to keep an eye out for all of the wildlife. (We spotted a Moose on our last visit)
Spring is a fantastic time to visit. There is still plenty of snow, the temperatures are milder so sleigh rides, snowmobiling, cross country skiing and sledding or just relaxing by the fire are perfect.
Summertime is perfect for any outdoor activity. The days are warm but the evenings are cool. If you are in town for the 4th of July check out the fireworks show but be sure to bring a blanket!
The Unique Benefits at this House
Our home is close to everything!! If you want to ski Wolf Creek is 17 miles, the Silverton/ Durango train is less than one hour,hiking in the national forest is right outside your front door, wildlife can be seen from the covered deck,hot air balloons are a part of the daily landscape, the Hot Springs are within minutes, should you need a locally brewed beer the brewery is right down the street and the fishing and hunting are excellent.

Hi ya'll. We are originally from Louisiana but do think of Colorado as our second home.
It only took one visit for us to realize that we needed to be able to spend more time here. We have had so many great family memories here, and are looking forward to many more fun and exciting times. We know that ya'll will love it here too!
