Welcome to Mountain Vista, a luxurious ranch style home that has been completely remodeled. All of its systems (including energy efficient 2 Zone heating and air conditioning)and finishes have been updated--this home was virtually rebuilt from the ground up. The result is a modern 5 bedroom, 4 1/2 bath California ranch built for entertaining, in the classic Palm Springs style, both inside and out. The 2010 season will be its first since being remodeled and completely refurnished.
Mountain Vista is located in the prestigious, upscale Deepwell neighborhood of wind free South Palm Springs. Home to many movie stars over the years, it is a quiet area of beautifully kept private homes, yet only minutes away from all of the attractions of downtown Palm Springs. Smoketree Shopping Center, with its grocery stores, banks and pharmacies is literally a short walk away.
Walk inside Mountain Vista from the circular drive and you enter the Great Room-- one open space that connects the living room, dining room, kitchen and wet bar. It has a dramatic vaulted ceiling with a large wood beam and travertine floors. The appliances are new and stainless, the counter tops are granite. The cook's kitchen features a 6 burner gas cook top, double ovens, and a wine refrigerator in wet bar. The dining table seats eight, with four more spaces at the counter. The living area has custom built contemporary furniture and a Panasonic 50" HD flat screen TV with a DVD player and cable service. There is a stereo, CD player, and iPod docking station. Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. Be sure to light the gas fireplace to warm up your winter evenings.
The backyard features a large swimming pool and a substantial grassy area with citrus and pomegranate trees that is perfect for the kids. We have four chaise lounges and outdoor seating for eight. Four more counter seats are found near the service window connecting the outdoor gas barbecue area to the kitchen. The pool and yard receive full sun and have amazing views of the mountains. Shade is provided by three large umbrellas placed wherever you like.
The master suite is spacious and private with views of the pool from its King Size bed. Above the gas fireplace is a 42" flat screen TV. The en suite bathroom includes a Jacuzzi tub and separate shower with a walk-in closet with ample space. Guest suites 1 & 2 come with their own private bathrooms, one with a tub/shower and the other with a shower. Both of these bedrooms have queen sized beds and flat screen TV's. Bedroom 3 has a queen sized bed, flat screen TV and shares a bathroom with bedroom 4 which has a full size bed and flat screen TV. My family enjoyed a wonderful vacation at this property November 5th thru 12th, 2011. The property managers James and Clark were very kind, courteous and helpful. The home itself was everything we could and ask for and more. The photos of the home actually don't do justice to the place it is well appointed, comfortable and is located in a quiet area in Deep Well Estates. Deep Well is close to downtown, the airport and most importantly 5 or 6 golf courses. The pool area and back yard provided a perfect relaxation site after a busy day. We would highly recommend this home rental to our friends and relatives. Reading the guest book it seems that all of the folks who rented the home had the same great experience.

We had a family getaway at this house and we had a wonderful time. The house is clean, spacious and in a great area. We plan on making this an annual trip. I would definitely recommend this property. Also, the owner and property manager were very nice and courteous.

We spent three weeks in April at this well appointed and spacious house and backyard where we enjoyed our family and grandkids in sunny Palm Springs. This home handles three couples and three small children very well as there is plently of room to spread out, both inside and out. The owners and property manager were very couteous and responsive to work with. We hope to be able to spend another spring family holiday at this quiet and convenient Palm Springs home.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this home! The property is everything that it is described to be and more! The master suite is stunning and the wide open floor plan makes it perfect for entertaining. The home was clean and well stocked. I would definitely recommend this property to others - it's very spacious (with plenty of seating) to accommodate large families/groups and the neightborhood is nice and quiet. Lastly, the greeter and property manager were both wonderful to work with.
