Year Purchased: 2004
This is our family standing on the bridge leading into our private cabin getaway. We purchased our cabin in 2004 and have loved spending time together in this cozy retreat. Our sons enjoy going out the back door, walking to the river and fly fishing for trout. Our entire family enjoys year-round outdoor recreation like four-wheeling, snow shoeing, hiking, riding horses, and all winter sports. The things we love most about our cabin are sitting around a cozy fire, playing games, and cooking our favorite family meals. Why the Owner Chose Oakley
We chose Oakley because of the great location it has to offer. We're located approximately 45 min from Salt Lake City. We have Deer Valley Ski Resort, Park City Ski Resort and the Canyons Ski Resorts with in 20 min. The Cabin has year round access so no need to worry about bad weather. We're also located 15 min from Jordanelle Reservoir or Rockport Reservoir where you can water-ski or wake board. If you're looking for a mountainous lake for fishing or canoeing Smith and Morehouse is just up the road.
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
Whether your a Summer person or a Winter person this cabin has it all. Wonderful activities such as fly fishing on your own private section of a famous blue ribbon trout river. Just up the street is a wonderful guest ranch where your family can go on horse back rides and they even offer Chuck wagon dinners. Oakley and Kamas offer great local dining and Oakley boasts a world-famous 4th of July rodeo. Book early to get your tickets. If you like shopping, dining or even celebrity gazing, especially during the Sundance Film Festival, then Park City is just 20 minutes away. This retreat is very private and has its own gated entrance. You'll love your stay at our Oakley cabin.
