A designer kitchen with all stainless professional quality appliances including a Wolf gas range, granite countertops and a spacious eating area looking out and open to a private backyard with volcanic mountain views. Also an adjacent formal dining room with limestone flooring and oriental carpets. There is a private study, a family room with a large screen digital TV. This family room is an open design with exotic hardwood stairs. Exit through French doors to a 36 foot square private pool and an expansive 22,000 square foot private yard.
The master first floor bedroom is very large with limestone floors, a private sitting area, king bed, air conditioning and a private expansive large bath with a dual sink vanity, separate designer shower and soaker tub. Upstairs the floors are exotic hardwood, there are 4 additional bedrooms: One with a king bed, two with queen beds and one with 2 twin beds. There is also a sleep sofa in a beautiful game room which opens onto a private large lanai with lounge chairs and an ocean view. Two rear bedrooms have private lanais with mountain views. Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
We have owned and enjoyed a condo in Poipu for over 25 years. This property is also listed on VRBO and available for rental. We outgrew this property and bought a large lot 5 minutes away and built a new state of the art home to use for our family and for others to enjoy.

This is a new very large home (4000 square feet) on two lots with privacy. A great place to enjoy family reunions, weddings or other special occasions.

We are part time Kauai residents who have been visiting the island for 30 years. Our experience allows us to provide renters with the best advise and location for enjoying the perfect Kauai vacation. We have spent two years building our dream home so that our family can spend time together in paradise. Our home for most of our lives has been in Seattle; however, as we near retirement we hope to spend more time in Kauai.

We had a great stay at this spacious, close to the ocean property in Kauai. This is our 3rd trip to the island and definately this was our favorite stay - due in large part to this great home. It is lovingly built, furnished and cared for and was convenient to everything. We lacked for nothing during our stay and all of us said ahhhhh... upon arrival and were sad to leave. Thanks so much to Leonard and Gaylene for ensuring we were well taken care of!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children.

Beautiful upscale residence in a quiet community near Brennecke and Poipu beaches. Spacious home easily accommodates 10-12 people. Well maintained; pool, lawn, and cleaning services. Memorable family vacation. Home/pool provided a welcome respite after a day of golf, fishing, hiking, or a day at the beach.

My fiance (at the time, now my husband) and I came to Kauai to get married and wanted a spacious enough home for us, our parents and/or close family. This home provided us with that and more! There were 10 adults and 2 kids with us in the home and it never felt crowded. The house is very well layed out and maintained (it's new). It has all of the beach equipment that you will ever need (so no need to head to Costco or walmart). The house is more beautiful then you see in the pictures, the beds are comfy, pool was the perfect size (not too small or too big) and the wireless internet was a hit among everyone in the house who checked their email throughout our stay. The location was perfect for us,10-12min to the beach. If you want a place right on the beach you will have to look into staying at one of the resorts. I will be recommending the house to all that are heading to Kauai. Leonard and Gaylene were super easy to deal with and it was a pleasure.
