Magnificent sunsets await you as you relax in our private beachfront retreat. Tortuga is a very quiet condominium community on the most private part of Siesta Key. Our unit is in the center of the complex in the same building as the newly remodeled social room with full kitchen for larger gatherings, and comfy sofas to relax in while you watch the large flat screen TV. We are also on the fourth floor over the heated pool that sits halfway under the building to ensure a swim in any weather.
Our Condo in available to be rented for a term of 1 month or more. We have recently remodeled our unit updating the bathroom with a walk in shower, comfort height toilet, new cabinets with granite counter and double sinks. The kitchen was also totally redone with granite, new cabinets and stainless steel appliances. The living room with a full gulf view, also has new furniture. We have 3 flat screen TV's, HD cable, and Wi-Fi in our unit. The bedroom has a very comfortable King size bed, a walk-in closet, and full gulf view.
The sunporch doubles as a second bedroom with a new full size sofa bed, dresser and flat screen TV, for any guests that may arrive. The very private beach is only steps away and boasts some of the best shelling in the area.
There are several shopping areas within minutes, and some of the area's best restaurants are within walking distance. If you are a boater there is the availability of a boat dock for you to rent during your stay. And if tennis is your sport we have tennis courts too.

Thanks Tracy & Bill for opening up your condo to us! The condo interior is absolutely beautiful. The kitchen is gourmet quality with stainless steel and granite; and the living areas are stylish, yet very comfortable. The location is excellent for relaxing or shell hunting on the quiet beach; but it is also a short drive to Siesta Key Village (and it's white quartz beach) if you want to shop, dine or are looking for live entertainment. The complex amenities are wonderful, too - we swam in the pool, used the sauna and played tennis daily. You can walk for miles on the beach to the south (during low tide) and bike riding is very easy due to the designated lanes on the roads. The view from the condo was amazing (especially the sunsets)and we even caught a couple of sun rises from the boat docks across the street. The location is ideal for day trips to St. Armand's Circle (great shopping) and other beaches (Lido Beach, Longboat Key, Holmes Beach, Venice). Year Purchased: 2005
About the owner: I grew up in Indianapolis, IN. and moved to Sarasota in 1981. I could not be happier here...no snow and lots of sun. I met and married my husband Bill, a Pittsburgh native who shares my love of sand and sea. (I must say however, he has gotten me to love our twice yearly ski trips to Colorado.) We love using our beachfront condo on weekends in the off season. The views are gorgeous and we are sure you will enjoy every minute of your stay.
Why the Owner Chose Tortuga:
We purchased our condo in Tortuga because we loved this quiet end of Siesta Key. The building is managed very well and is kept in top shape. Our unit has the best view in the complex.
