We have owned this property for 5 years and have memories that will be with us forever. We are a family of 5 and always have had room to entertain in this house. It has been one of the best things we ever did for our family. We love all water sports and enjoy the snowmobile trails immensely.
Why the Owner Chose Long Lake
We chose this property because of its location on the lake. It is very protected and in the middle of the lake, which is about 19 miles long. You can head either direction easily with one way being to the main part of the lake where the entertainment is and the other way being more scenic and protected. We loved the layout of the lot because of it's size and elevation also. As for the home, it is very comfortable and there is a lot of room where groups of adults or kids can hang out together or have their own space. The road leading to the property is private and we are at the end of the road so there is no through traffic. The lot is heavily wooded and there is a real feel of the Northwoods, but the lake itself offers good food from a variety of places as well as gas stations.
The Unique Benefits of this Lake Home
You will have access to one of the best lakes in the area in terms of fishing and water sports in the summer or fantastic snowmobile trails and ice fishing in the winter. This lake is clean, clear and 3,300 acres of fun. There is plenty of room to stretch out in our home yet not so much that people are invisible. The home is nicely decorated with all or most of the comforts that you would normally expect from your own home with a Northwoods feel. The fire pit is a great place to spend time and overlooks the lake. With moderate elevation to the lake, people of all ages will be able to enjoy the setting.
