Hi! Our family resides in Florida but we have lived all over the world as members of the US Air Force. We have 3 sons and 2 grandsons who are the lights of our lives. Barry is a retired fighter pilot and Suzette is a nurse. We look forward to sharing our mountain home with Smoky Mountain visitors.
Why the Owner Chose Townsend
We visited the area several times in the past and simply fell in love with it! Townsend is in close proximity to the big city atmosphere of Knoxville and to the tourist rich areas of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge while preserving the rural mountain escape that we wanted. We love the mountain scenery, the wildlife and the slower pace of life. All seasons offer fun for everyone -- tubing, hiking, sightseeing, shopping, horseback riding and just sitting on the porch swing adoring the view.
