The rental was everything and more than was listed. The view was the best we have had in Townsend ,TN rentals (we have been there more 7 times in the past). The response from the owner and the caretaker was great. We will be staying there on our next visit to Townsend. Thanks to all involved for helping to make our vacation a success.

The cabin, view, owners, and caretakers were absolutely wonderful! The house was fully loaded with every convenience you can hope for. Perfectly located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg with the entrance to Cades Cove just a few miles away. I highly recommend staying here for your Tennessee vacation. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to come back. This home away from home deserves 10 stars!

We had ten family members--two generations, but all adults, for a week in Townsend. I had arranged a similar group last year and knew what to expect. Again, the house was clean and well furnished with lots of towels and bedding. The view is spectacular and we spent time on the porch enjoying nature while we visited. Any questions or needs we had, the caretaker quickly responded. Weather cooperated and we enjoyed the wildflowers and flowering shrubs and trees. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants a comfortable 5 bedroom home. It is in a very rural area, but near lots of other attractions.

Everything about this house was BETTER than the description. Everything worked! the kitchen had many items that we never expected to be there. We played games from their cabinet. Cedar Creek cabin was wonderful. The veiw from the front deck was amazing. The cabin was very clean,comfortable and tastefully decorated. The game room had everything you would want to play. We visited Cades Cove,Cherokee,Maggie Valley and went sking in Cataloochee. Grandmas Kitchen has the best breakfast and hamburgers. The pictures of the cabin don't do it justice. It's much prettier in person. And very quiet. It was alot of fun. Just what my family needed. Thank you so much.

Cedar Creek Manor

We could not have been more pleased with our stay! The cabin was not only very clean, but it felt like home. Our family gathered from long distances and there was plenty of room to visit comfortably, both all together at times and in small groups occasionally. We loved the outdoor firepit and the roomy kitchen. The dining table was the perfect size for us all to share our meals. It was truly perfect! Thank you for sharing with us!

I and my 7 teenage grandchildren recently stayed at Cedar Creek Manor in Townsend, TN and had a wonderful time! The "Manor" was spotless, beautifully furnished, comfortable, cozy and warm. The view from the deck and windows on that side of the house was absolutely breathtaking. Everything was even more than we expected. The kids really enjoyed the ping pong table, foosball game, pool table and giant checkers game. I would definitely recommend Cedar Creek Manor to others. Oh, and this was our annual Christmas celebration and the extra decorations and Christmas tree were the "icing on the cake"!

Our family met at the Cedar Creek Manor to celebrate our 3rd annual "Christmas in Gatlinburg" I do not know where to begin, but this place was awesome. We fell in love with Cedar Creek the minute we walked in the front door. It felt so much like home and had all the comforts of home, I cannot think of one thing that was missing except for maybe the snow. The grandchildren were looking for snow, but I was very thankful for the temps in the 50's and lots of sunshine. The family room was a big hit for everyone. We had the pleasure of meeting Diane and her husband, they do a wonderful job keeping the house and grounds in perfect condition. I/we cannot wait to go back again next year to celebrate Christmas again.

Townsend works good for us because some of the family own cabins or condos in the area. Everyone loved the house, it was perfect. Having spices, condiments, and kitchen supplies was very helpful. The view was wonderful and Townsend was so peaceful. Cedar Creek Manor was the perfect spot for our family weekend away. The kitchen was fully equipped for all the cooking we did. The beds were large and very comfortable; the bathrooms spacious and clean. The gameroom was a huge hit with old and young, and we enjoyed the firepit on the deck--perfect for a cool autumn evening. The view is wonderful--far more gorgeous than the photos show! And the owner and next-door caretakers were generous and helpful--very easy to work with.

Wow - what a place to stay! The Cedar Creek Manor is even better than advertised. The property was spectacular - clean, welcoming and more than we expected. We were very please with the manor. There were seven in our party and when an unexpected wedding was announced, four additional guests arrived - and we had space for them with no problems. The property owner and manager were easy to work with and made our 7-month-old granddaughter's first family vacation very simple. They had everything from a pack-n-play to a high chair and a gate for the stairs. We will come back to Cedar Creek Manor when we return to the Smoky Mountains and recommend it without hesitation.

We had a marvelous time during the week of July17-July23. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Your home is so warm and cozy and was a perfect fit for our needs. We have spent several vacations in the Townsend/Gatlinburg area and have rented many different homes. Your home was absolutely the best possible "home away from home" for us. My son, Zachary, who is wheelchair bound was allowed so much flexibility with the set up of your home. He was able to share in all of the fun activities on the bottom level as well as comfortably have his own space on the main floor. I would highly recommend your home to anyone with a disability such as Zack's. Diane was very helpful and courteous. The views are spectacular and I had to drag my husband away and back to Florida. We love our beaches but the mountains are very inviting and rejuvenating. We did manage to climb Laurel Falls and Clingman's Dome with Zack in his manual chair. That was no small accomplishment but well worth the effort. We also did enjoy Cade's Cove and numerous other recreational activities during the day. But it was always so fantastic to return each night to your home. We look forward to another stay in the future. Thanks again for sharing your home with us.

Our group included three families with young children. We were close to a variety of activities from Dollywood to caverns to hiking in the Smokies, yet the cabin was far enough away from the commercialized areas that you felt peaceful and secluded with an awesome view of the Smoky Mountains. We also felt very safe letting our children roam the large front yard as the cabin is located on a quiet country road. The game room was a huge hit with the kids and adults. The cabin left us wanting for nothing. We will be back!

Family Reunion in the Smokies

We enjoyed a wonderful week at this spacious and well-appointed cabin. The twelve of us found the accommodations comfortable, the cabin well stocked, and the possibilities endless. The front deck became our gathering place and many hours were spent enjoying the view and each other's company. That's when we weren't seated around the table enjoying the luxury of home cooked meals! (We took turns so that nobody felt over-burdened.) The proximity to the National Park was a definite plus, and being off the beaten path, we found the peace and quiet relaxing. There was still plenty to see and do, and the busier tourist areas were a short drive away. The cabin suited our needs perfectly and helped to make this family gathering one of the best ever! We will definitely want to come back and enjoy your hospitality again!

What an amazing experience! Thank you so much for the use of your home! It fit our family perfectly...the bedrooms and bathrooms (some upstairs and some downstairs was just what we needed), the game room downstairs, and especially the large dining room table! It was so nice for us all to be able to sit down together! We also spent quite a bit of time sitting on the front deck, letting the kids play and enjoying the beautiful scenery! Everything was so nice and clean, and ready for us when we arrived! I also really appreciate the great communication arranging our stay. Everything worked so smoothly! If we are ever back in Tennessee, I know just who to contact for an amazing rental home! THANK YOU!

This was a great place to stay. The pictures really don't do it justice. The children loved the game room. We spent the week biking and hiking in the mountains. It was so nice to come back to such a beautiful and relaxing cabin. The kitchen was well-equipped and everything was so clean. The view from the deck was beautiful! The one day that it rained was still great because we played some of the games available. We would definitely recommend this property and we are already planning our next visit.

A spring beauty

I made the arrangements for my extended family from Wisconsin, North Carolina, Georgia, Maryland and South Africa. They came and went as their time allowed. I was pleased when each one of them came and commented on how great the house was for us! We had three generations and we did lots of games together, but many played pool, ping pong and foosball. The well equipped kitchen was a joy in which to work. I appreciated the extras like spices, some sugar and flour, condiments, etc, which got us started till we went to the grocery. The large dining table (seated 12) was one of the deciding features for me. We liked being together at meals. It also was great for playing games. The house was clean and well supplied with linens. The caretaker made herself available for any questions we had. We enjoyed the pastoral view from the front porch. The Wisconsin families left snow to come for a beautiful week in the 70's. Everything was green and spring flowers were in abundance. It was a good family time in a beautiful location in a very comfortable house.

Our Family Motorcycle Weekend

We had a great time at Cedar Creek Manor and highly recommend it to anyone whether traveling by motorcycle or car (cage). The house is very spacious and well equipped and the ten of us just enjyed a nice place to sit around and visit each day after riding through the Smokies. It is very convenient, yet well secluded from the main roads. The Gramms have a good thing going.

We have vacationed in the Townsend area many times and really love all the options for activities. This time our children and grandchildren were with us. This house was absolutely perfect for all the childrens' ages from five to early teens. They had a blast playing in the yard and playing the game tables in the lower level. The floor plan suited us very well, having three bedrooms up and two down. Of coarse you know Grampa and Gramma were with the kids! Three bathrooms are great when you have a group and the kitchen was wonderful I especially loved the cattle grazing on the hill while I enjoyed my morning coffee. Thank you for a truly blessed family experience.

Felt just like home!

There is no way I could say enough good things about this rental. Most appreciated the very well appointed kitchen. We are all cooks, from a dining service director to a cooking school owner. We could not have been happier with the kitchen! The level of cleanliness in the entire house was also very appreciated. The landscaping, the huge wonderful yard (we had five grandgirls w/us), the amazing attention to every detail. Like I said, it was just like home but it was away from home. And then the views, simply could not have been better! We hope to return again and again. Thank you so very much.

Once again, my family had a wonderful time at Cedar Creek Manor. No stone has gone unturned in making this house a relaxing getaway. Due to recent bad weather the house phone lines were not working, but were quickly repaired even though we didn't mind not having a phone :-) Loved the quilts on the bed on those cool winter nights. The kitchen is spacious and has everything you need to cook for a large group, including enough seating. We cooked on the grill most nights, which is conviently located just outside the kitchen. The house has easy access to both levels, which was great for my mother-in-law who was not able to climb the stairs. We visited Tremont during this stay and hiked to Spruce Flats Falls. Beautiful! The auto tour at Tremont was a nice drive as well. Make sure to get the tour book (at the beginning of the trail) to learn the history of the area. Roaring Fork Motor Trail (turn at light #8 in Gatlinburg) had just opened and was breathtaking. The hike to Grotto Falls is worth the time, and easy even for small children. (My boys are 5, 7, & 10 and had NO problems on this trail). Beware of the mud on this trail though!! Thank goodness for some spare bags in the car!

Great vacation rental home

We have rented several different vacation homes in various locations, and I would have to say that this is the most well furnished and equipped cabin we have rented so far. Everything you could possibly need in a kitchen was there. The furnishing throughout the cabin are very comfortable and it is very nicely decorated. We had a 4 generation family get together, and everyone from great grandma to the toddler had a great time.

We stayed at Cedar Creek Manor Dec. 23-28, 2010. It was absolutely beautiful! From the moment you drive into the driveway, this cabin welcomes you. It is just as described in the listing. The owners and caretakers were all wonderful to deal with. It snowed on Christmas Eve, and when we got up on Christmas morning, the caretakers had left sleds out for our kids to use. The cabin itself is amazing. My Mom is in a wheelchair, and the top floor is completely wheelchair accessible. The big picture windows in the living and dining rooms show an amazing view of the Smoky Mountains. We honestly did not want to leave, and cannot wait to be able to coordinate another family trip there. The cabin that we stayed at last Christmas cost more than twice what this one did, and we liked this one better! If you are even remotely considering coming to this area, you HAVE to stay at this cabin!! You will not be disappointed! Thank you again for sharing your beautiful place with us. We would highly recommend it to anyone!

We had our family Christmas gathering at cabin and we had a wonderful time.The young ones spent a lot of time downstairs playing pool,ping pong,and video games.We had plenty of room for our ever growing family and hope to spend time there again next year.

We loved the place! We had 5 kids and 6 adults and this was the perfect size. The living room/kitchen/breakfast room upstairs is a nice open layout. Game room downstairs is good for kids, too. Nice open front yard to throw the frisbee and run around. Impressive view--that mountain picture is from the front porch and kitchen table. We had a scenic drive to Gatlinburg (neat aquarium for kids), and some went to Cades Cove too. Shopping nearby at the outlet malls also. THanks Suzette!

"Our family had a wonderful time on our recent trip. We absolutely LOVED the house!!! From the second we walked in, we felt very comfortable there. The location was perfect for all of our outings. My boys had a blast in the game room downstairs. I don't think that you have missed a detail, right down to the labels on switches and remotes. I personally appreciate such small details. :-) We couldn't get enough of the view from the front deck."

Three families (total of 11) come to Townsend to spend the Labor Day weekend. We celebrated my Mom's 70th birthday. We enjoyed the large Kitchen and Dining were everyone got to spend time together. The men watched the opening weekend of college football on the large TV. Great views, great food and great time to spend together. We hope to spend time like this each year.

Mountain getaway

We met in Townsend for a family reunion. We had three families with 5 kids total. The cabin had plenty of room and was the most well-appointed rental house we have ever rented! There was plenty to keep the kids occupied during our stay in the house and the surrounding area. We usually meet at the beach, but everyone found the mountains to be just as much fun. If we meet in the mountains again next summer, we will definately rent this house again!

What a wonderful place for R&R. I LOVED the peace and quiet, the view is to die for, and the cabin could not be any more well equipped. The country/mountain furnishings are very pretty and I love how you display the quilts. I have been back home now for 2 weeks and I am already longing to return to Cedar Creek Manor and enjoy the pure sounds of nature. The caretakers, Diane and Denny, are a delight and made sure we had everything we needed.
