Les Petits Pois - St. Barth Villa

In January, 2012, we had the great pleasure of staying at Les Petits Pois. To say that the villa exceeded our expectations would be the understatement of the decade. When we arrived at the entrance and then had a guided tour from Gael, the property manager, our jaws were on the floor. We could not have imagined a more perfect place to spend our 35th anniversary. There are so many things we loved about Les Petits Pois that it would be hard to list them all. But here are some of the things that brought the biggest smiles: the amazing views over the ocean; the remarkable overall space of the villa; the wonderful flow of the living areas; the gorgeous pool (where we swam at night and gazed up at the moon and the swaying palm trees); the gigantic pool area with the hammock, large dining table, outdoor grill, and the various seating areas; the charming kitchen/living/dining area, with more views out to the ocean; the generous-sized bedrooms (and the huge master bath); the master bedroom, where you can lie in bed and look out over the ocean; the wonderful dining area on the porch; the excellent amenities (large flat-screen TV, telephone, WiFi, fully-stocked kitchen, dishwasher, etc.); the beautiful landscaping -- lush bougainvillea, palm trees, etc. Of course Les Petits Pois was clean and well-maintained. The photos on the website were great, but the actual villa was far more beautiful. And Nancy, the owner, was incredibly responsive and wonderful to deal with. There were tons of activities nearby -- gorgeous nature walks, phenomenal restaurants (Do Brazil and Gloriette, to name just two), even a little museum in the charming town of Gustavia. Nothing is more than 10 to 15 minutes away by car. This villa captured our hearts because it was romantic, charming, and relaxed, but not "precious" or pretentious. We loved the blue-and-white decorating scheme, repeated so well throughout the entire space. We wouldn't have traded our stay at Les Petis Pois for the fanciest hotel room at Le Toiny or Eden Roc. Thank you for making our 35th anniversary a trip of a lifetime!

Les Petit Pois is a very comfortable and relaxing villa to vacation in. The wait staff is fantastic, as well as the amenities that the house has to offer. The wonderful views, heated pool, and full kitchen ads to the splendor of this villa. I have stayed in this villa for 16 years. Whether you stay by yourself or share it with friends you will have a wonderful time. You are,also, located close to what ever you feel like doing. The beaches and restaurants are within five minutes of the villa. The villa can only enhance your vacation. Enjoy

I have stayed at this property for 16 years. The wait staff(manager and maid) are very helpful and efficient. The location is ideal to anywhere you want to go on the Island. The house is well maintained and appliances are kept updated.It is avery relaxing house to stay in, whether by yourself or with others. The heated pool and full kitchen are great amenities to have, as well as the king size beds. I have and would recommend this villa to anyone. Enjoy.

A terrific experience. The villa is well-equipped (kitchen, bedrooms, common areas), well maintained, and the villa manager and owner were a joy to deal with before, during and after our stay. There are lots of separate spaces inside and out for groups to congregate together or spend time alone. Uncovered and covered outdoor areas allow you to enjoy the villa in any weather.

We loved Les Petits Pois! It is situated high on a hill with a beautiful view of Flamands beach, and also within walking distance of the island's best patisserie. The house is thoughtfully appointed with an especially well-equipped kitchen--no detail has been overlooked. The bedrooms we used (we came with another couple) are large and very comfortable, and located in a separate building away from the main part of the house, which makes them quiet and private. Baths are spacious and ours had both a shower and a tub. Pool area is fabulous--great for entertaining. Owner is a delight to deal with--we have been coming to St. Barth's for 10 years and we highly recommend this property.
