After searching for an apartment for over a year, I saw this completely renovated 12th century apartment with one of the greatest views in all of Italy - Brunelleschi's Cathedral, or the Duomo.

Located literally next to the Duomo, Belvedere Duomo is only a few blocks from the Uffizi, the train Station, the Central Market and San Lorenzo, and the Accademia. The apartment is a "new" property, completed restored and rebuilt after 2 years of work, including wonderful appointments and conveniences only found in a luxury suite in a fine hotel.

I have thoroughly evjoyed my visits to Belvedere Duomo! The location can't be beat and the terrace is unlike any other rental I've had in all of Italy. After rentals in Rome and Venice over the years - I will be back to this great apartment again and again - the furnishings are comfortable and luxurious, and so quiet and convenient. The remote control A/C's in every room make this rental most convenient. I especially appreciated the satellite TV and internet availability. It's well worth the easy climb to the the apartment, to a private sanctuary that's yours alone!

We had a fabulous visit at Belvedere Duomo - the location is so convenient to everything in Florence, and the view from the terrace is beyond description. The Duomo is so powerful and magnificent, and sitting on the terrace at sunset with a glass of wine was a memory we will never forget. The kitchen is great for snacks or a full gourmet dinner with fresh food from the Central Market a few blocks away. Everything was perfect - we will be back!!
