The Village at Carefree is a development located just north of Scottsdale in Carefree, AZ and is a fully fenced, gated community of luxury villas surrounded by desert lanfscape. Located just 45 minutes north of Phoenix Sky Harbor airport Carefree is in the mountain foothills of Tonto National Forest. During the day you can see mountains and rock formations in every direction - in addition to many upscale homes. At night the stars shine with the clarity of a high definition TV.
The villa consists of two suites with private entries joined by a foyer. The villa features ceramic tile, granite counter tops and vanities, and beautiful large raised wood panel doors throughout. The family room has a corner Santa Fe style fireplace and is adjacent to a dining area with a table for six. The villa is conveniently located right next to the putting green and right across from the pool. It has two balconies. Enjoy the morning sun from the Master suite balcony and the afternoon and setting sun from the Junior suite balcony.
When you need to venture out, the towns of Carefree and nearby Cave Creek have plenty of shopping and a wide variety of excellent unique restaurants - you won't find many restaurant chains here. To your south is Scottsdale. To the north, Sedona is only about an hour an 1/2 away.

Why the Owner Chose Carefree
We live in the Midwest, but fell in love with the mountains and desert landscape of the Carefree area the first time we visited back in 2004. We bought our condo when we came back the next year to visit Steve's mom and Step-dad who were wintering in Mesa. We were attracted to the landscaping of the development in addition to the spacious design of the 2 suite condo we purchased. In addition, the wrought iron, heavy wood doors, tilework and western flavor of the condo were all appealing to us. Carefree is peaceful yet has a lot to offer with nice shops around the sundial area in town and plenty of unique restaurants.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Our villa is right next to the putting green and across the street from the pool so we enjoy the convenience of the whole family being in the same area even if we aren't doing the same thing. Off property we have enjoyed the abundant golf and Steve has even hiked to the top of Black Mountain a couple of times.
Great golf course with part of the front nine on the side of the mountain with great views. The onsite Tonto Bar and Grill is a popular local restaurant.
America's largest sundial is located in Carefree. The Sundial area is well landscaped. Park and enjoy many shops and great restaurants.
Use the Resort Spa, rent bikes or dine at the Lariat Restaurant. Later have a drink and play pool or foosball at the Red Horse Saloon.
