If you enjoy fine dining you can find it either in Cape Coral or nearby Ft. Myers which is located just minutes away over the bridge. The cape has dancing and entertainment any night of the week and hosts many special events, including a juried art show each February that is attended by thousands of locals and visitors. Every Tuesday night there is entertainment at the fabulous Cape Harbour Resort which draws hundreds of people to its Marina Front restaurants, shops and gathering places.
You must take time to visit nearby Sanibel Island with its World Renowned Beaches and Wildlife Sanctuary, and plethora of shops and eateries. Famous Spring Break Ft. Myers Beach is just a short ride away and is a great, fun getaway for the day. There are tons of restaurants and beachside establishments to enjoy any day of the week! And, don't forget to take in a baseball game with the Minnesota Twins or Boston Red Sox! There are also plenty of golf courses to challenge any level player!
If you enjoy live theatre, drive the 15 minutes to the Barbara B. Mann Theatre in Ft. Myers where you are sure to find a theatrical event to suit your taste. There are many other activities close by and Ft. Myers International Airport is only 30-40 minutes away.
