Why the Owner Chose Fenwick Island
We searched many areas in Rehoboth, Lewes, Fenwick and Ocean City and found Mallard Lakes to be the most accommodating in amenities and so very serene. This is a very quiet community yet children friendly. Lots of outside activities (playground, shuffleboard, horseshoes, volleyball, basketball, pools, whirlpool tub). The best of both worlds - ocean, lakes and serenity.

Payment in US Dollars only. The above charges exclude a recreation fee of $75 for use of the two pools and recreation facilities during the summer (Memorial Day-Labor Day) payable at the Main Pool. Pool supervisor will give pool and parking pass. Cleaning excluded. You must clean your own unit. A security deposit of $75 will be charged for cleaning. The $75 will be refunded after next tenant (probably owner on weekends) confirms cleaned facility. Deposit- One half total rate is required to reserve date. Less than 60 days in advance of reservation will require payment in full. Renter must provide verifiable address and phone number for contract documents. CHECK IN - IN MONDAY at 8:00 am ---OUT FRIDAY at 11:00 Sorry, NO PETS OR GRILLS ALLOWED. No phone provided. Grills are available throughout the community in common recreation areas and can be used by tenants - charcoal. Pillows and blankets available for all beds. Renter to provide own linens and towels. Wireless internet access in main pool area only,. Daily internet available through Ocean Net at $8/day. Non-smoking unit.
Owner's Map of Fenwick Island
We have owned properties in both Bethany and Ocean City over the last 10 years. We decided to move out of a condo in OC, MD and move into a more serene area where we could enjoy the peace and quiet of the beach area and drive to the action in OC, MD when we want. We are a couple in our 50's with teenagers and grown children. We enjoy beaching and boating. We are particular landlords and keep the place looking super. We hope you enjoy our unit as much as we do.

My daughters, grandson, and I had an awesome time at the beach. The rental was very nice and comfortable, everything I needed was there, Also there were stores very close to the rental to serve our needs. The view of the lake out of the back door was so beautiful!! Thank you for renting to us!!

Absolutely loved the Townshouse and the location. Beautifully decorated and kept very clean. The view of the pond from the sunroom was an added pleasure as we could watch fish and frogs jumping all the time! The grounds are well-kept and the pool was a real treat for the kids after a day at the beach. It's a nice quiet spot where you can relax and do nothing but are close enough to restaurants, the beach, miniature golf, Bethany's boardwalk or even Rehoboth. We truly liked the mini-rental week as this was just enough time to do what we needed without spending a fortune on a whole weekly rental. Definitely would rent this place again.

Loved the area, very quiet on the lake. Home had lots of room and comfortable beds. Plenty to do, 2 pools and playground for the kids. Only a few minutes from the ocean, shopping and restaurants.

Fenwick Island - Mallard Lakes Vacation

Our stay at your condo in Mallard Lakes from June 14th to June 18th was perfect. The home is very neat and clean and it was perfect for my family - my husband and two kids and my mother and father. There was enough room for the 6 of us and we all were very comfortable. The best part of the condo is the view of the lake from the sun room. We saw so many birds, and wildlife by just looking out the sliding glass doors. We fished everynight after dinner in the pond. My kids were so excited because they acutally caught fish. They also enjoyed looking at the blue crabs walking in the shallow water and the ducks and geese walking outside the sun room. The pool and tennis courts also were very enjoyable. The pool is spacious and very well kept. Our family had a blast playing tennis. We had so much fun hanging out in Mallard Lakes that we rarely went out. However, the condo is close to everything. There is so much to do right off of the coastal highway only a few minutes away. We played putt-putt golf, shopped and had a nice lunch on the corner of Route 54 and the Coastal Highway. We also took a ride to Ocean City which is only minutes away. The boardwalk is about a 15 minute ride from the condo. I definitly plan to return.
