The apartment was just as pictured and described, and the apartment was clean. You can't ask for a better location with the subway just a short block away on 79th and Broadway. Plenty of grocery stores, deli's, restaurants, and bars in the neighborhood. And you are staying in a neighborhood, not some high rise hotel. Peter was easy to work with and pleasant. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Peter! FYI, this is a 3rd floor walk-up.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

This is a comfortable apartment in a great location. Just one block from the subway and a block from Zabars. What more could you ask? All the beds were very comfortable and it was quite quiet. The owner is very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

Don't let the dingy entry put you off, the apartment is bright, clean and very nicely put together with everything which was promised in place; including wifi and all modern facilities in good working order, and none of the Lessor's personal possessions intruding into your space. Unexpectedly lovely outlook into the leafy canopy of street trees. Laundromat downstairs, 79th Street Subway barely a skip away - less than 20 minutes from Lincoln Centre, door to door. Filene's Basement for amazing clothing bargains on the corner, great food and wine shops on Broadway, tons of good restaurants; not as frantic as downtown, every amenity close by and easy to find, few tourists. We had 24 days there and felt like (very fortunate) locals. Lessor very nice and obliging. Perfect for 2 singles with a bedroom each, or a couple plus 1. Living room is small perhaps for 2 couples, but the kitchen is big with a good sized table to eat at and plan your day. Recommend unreservedly, but you have to be able to do stairs.
