We bought this house in order to have a Green lifestyle.
You will be able to go around with out using the car. The 3 mile loop around Greenlake was a great plus specially if you like to run or exercise, our kids had so much fun in those parks. We specially enjoy walking to PCC natural market to do our daily groceries, or walk to the Farmers Markets in Phinney.
Our house is small and very efficient; you will find yourself cooking and still in the middle of the conversation while accessing everything you need just by extending your arm. Our open kitchen is almost in the center and who ever is cooking can be a part of everything, from preparing a snack for the tv area, to join the dinner conversation while fixing dessert, or watching the birds in the pond in front of the house or kids playing in the yard.
We like the fact that it has a downstairs where you can also be isolated from the public activities.
We enjoy the view throught the window in our living room sofa, you can see the street and our double lot yard in front of the house. It is a great window I am sure you will enjoy it.
When taking a shower you will have to pull yourself out since our on demand water heater just keeps the hot water going.
And if you love soaking our tub is specially chosen to have great soaking baths Japanese style, great after running for long time or when we came back from the mountain.

Mom is an interior designer and Dad a soccer coach, we both are into biking, running, swimming, soccer and gourmet cooking, and so our kids. We love Seattle lifestyle because it can foster a healthy life. We have lived in several places and loved simple family life

Why the Owner Chose Phinney Ridge
We decided to convert our house into a vacation rental because we think people visiting Seattle can experience what it is and the beauty around a true Seattle Neighborhood. We thought the silence at night and the proximity to everything made you had the best of the country living and city living at once. We also love Green Lake, a lake 3 blocks from where our house is. Having it within walking distance has always been a bonus for all the people that come to our house.

The House has a Japanese flair because of its simplicity. Although it was built in 1910 we have an eclectic mix of things here. It has all the modern lifestyle's necessary items life free Wifi and cable TV and at the same time quiet lifestyles and a great garden and a walking and safe neighborhood around.
