Clean, comfy, and convenient!

Just returned from a super-relaxing holiday at Sugarek Lakeside. Can’t say enough good things -- about both the place and the owner! The sturdy deck out back was a wonderful place to enjoy the breeze and sip a cold drink, and it overlooks an amazing lawn that slopes down to the water. The place even has its own boat hanger. I enjoyed just sitting on the deck looking at the activity on the lake, slipping inside the cool air conditioning now and then to watch through the huge picture window instead. Highly recommend a peaceful stay (or an active stay, if you’re so inclined) at this place.

Year Purchased: 1988
About the owner: I have been coming to this home since I was a teenager. My family bought this house in 1988 and it is one of my favorite places to be.
Why the Owner Chose Kingsland:
My parents brought me to this house as a teenager to visit a friend who lived here. In later years it was the one 'extravigance' that my parents purchased in their 52 years of marriage. (and I've always been thankful for this) I fell in love with the Texas Hill Country the first time I saw it as a child, and the love has continued. The rocks, lakes, wildflowers... I love the area. It is a small community which I love to visit. The location in the Hill Country of Texas is one of my favorites.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
I love to look at the water, feel the breeze on my face or go boating. As a collector of antiques, the many little shops in the area are frequent haunts. The multiple quaint and tasty restaurants are a delight.
