This home and cottage are located on the Llano arm of Lake LBJ in Kingsland Texas directly across from Packsaddle Golf Course. The Main House has two bedrooms and one bath and the Texas Cottage has sleeping acommodations for 5 with one bath.
In the Main House, the master bedroom overlooks the water and has a queen size bed and single bed. The soft blue and flowered theme offers a sense of tranquility.
The second bedroom offers a double bed.
The sunny, fully equiped kitchen is located at the front of the house overlooking Packsaddle Golf Course. Whether preparing a meal or gathering around the table in the breakfast area, this will be a favorite place to gather.
The open living area provides a dining table, three additional conversation and sleeping areas with one queen and two double hide-a-bed sofas and two additional sofas. The living area overlooks the water on two sides through large windows and opens onto a spacious deck.
The house's warmth is enhanced by hardwood floors, the living room's washed pine walls, cozy conversation areas and abundant sunshine from all sides. The home's large windows allow a feeling of being outside from the comfort of indoors.
The oversized deck on the lake side provides a place for sitting in the swing, entertaining, watching the sunset over Packsaddle Mountain or just enjoying a book or cup of coffee.
Walk or ride your golf cart across the street for a game of golf, swim in the lake, sit by the water or take a hike and enjoy the area's abundant wildflowers and birds.
The Texas Cottage is a one bathroom effeciency type cottage with kitchenette, an antique iron double bed, queen size hide-a-bed and additional sofa. The wooden walls, red bandana accents and denim make you feel right at home in this cottage in the Texas Hill Country. The cottage can be rented separately or in a package with the Main House.

We had a great time and the owners were responsive and the home was comfortable for our family and dog. The view and the backyard are awesome. Thank you!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.

Just returned from a super-relaxing holiday at Sugarek Lakeside. Can’t say enough good things -- about both the place and the owner! The sturdy deck out back was a wonderful place to enjoy the breeze and sip a cold drink, and it overlooks an amazing lawn that slopes down to the water. The place even has its own boat hanger. I enjoyed just sitting on the deck looking at the activity on the lake, slipping inside the cool air conditioning now and then to watch through the huge picture window instead. Highly recommend a peaceful stay (or an active stay, if you’re so inclined) at this place.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

About the owner: I have been coming to this home since I was a teenager. My family bought this house in 1988 and it is one of my favorite places to be.
Why the Owner Chose Kingsland:
My parents brought me to this house as a teenager to visit a friend who lived here. In later years it was the one 'extravigance' that my parents purchased in their 52 years of marriage. (and I've always been thankful for this) I fell in love with the Texas Hill Country the first time I saw it as a child, and the love has continued. The rocks, lakes, wildflowers... I love the area. It is a small community which I love to visit. The location in the Hill Country of Texas is one of my favorites.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
I love to look at the water, feel the breeze on my face or go boating. As a collector of antiques, the many little shops in the area are frequent haunts. The multiple quaint and tasty restaurants are a delight.
