On the second floor of this gated complex, this Biarritz condo is both private and quiet. Newly furnished, along with ample attention to details, such as bed linens, oversized bath and pool towels.
A heated pool, of suitable size to swim laps for those so inclined, and two in-ground jet spas, surrounded by palm trees and well-manicured garden landscaping, are waiting for you just outside your vacation condo. Just beyond the pool, you will find two newly-renovated tennis courts, exclusively for Biarritz tenants and guests. Bring your own racket if you are a contender, or you may borrow the tennis rackets and tennis balls provided in your condo for your use.
The kitchen is equipped with upgraded pots, pans, flatware, glassware and stylish clear polymer glassware suitable for use at the pool. Appliances include a full size range, oven, microwave oven, blender, and toaster.
The bathroom features a tub/shower combination glass-enclosed stall and a single shower head, either mounted as a shower head, or may be used as with the attached hose. Stocked with essential toiletries, you won’t be caught off guard if you forgot to bring something. There’s even a hair dryer and a well-stocked first aid kit.
Cable TV is available in the bedroom, and an entertainment center in the living area, complete with VCR, DVD, CD, and a home theater system in the living area for your enjoyment of a couple of action movies.
If you must work on vacation, or just want to keep in touch with email, high-speed internet is provided, both with Wifi capability and a 25 ft internet connection cable. There are two phones, one in the kitchen and one in the bedroom, for local calls only, unless you are making collect calls or using your own phone card.
The stylishly furnished bedroom, with a queen size bed and walk in closet, also has its own balcony for sitting outside on a balmy Palm Springs evening, or reading the paper with you coffee as you wake up for the day. There is also the balcony in the front of the unit, suitable for both serving meals outdoors, or just taking it easy. With two persons accommodated in the bedroom, you may easily accommodate up to two more guests in living area by folding out the convertible sofa bed. Also, unique to this Biarritz unit, the bedroom has its own privacy door allowing access to the bathroom without from the living area without compromising the privacy of the bedroom
There are several laundry service areas inside the property, with one just down stairs and a few steps away from where you are staying.
There is much to do in Palm Springs. You are surrounded by all types of truly unique wilderness experiences, from the Joshua Tree National Park to the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, taking you from the desert floor to over 5,800 ft above sea level at the top of Mt San Jacinto. Not only will you get to see a spectacular view of the entire Coachella Valley, but also experience up to a 40 degree swing in temperature. In the Winter, you may need appropriate cold weather gear. A short drive away, you’ll find golf, tennis, horseback riding, and lots of hiking.
Downtown, there is no lack of things to do either. From the The Spa Resort Hotel and Casino, to any one of dozens of fine restaurants, specialty shops, the Desert Museum and the Fabulous Palm Springs Follies.
For the shopper in your group, not only are there several specialty shops in downtown Palm springs, make sure to check out the Cabazon Mall and Desert Hills Premium Outlet Mall, both about 20 minutes away.
If you enjoy warm, dry weather, you will appreciate Palm Springs’ balmy evenings and seemingly never ending sunshine – about 90% of the time, throughout the year.
