Our craftsman style cottage is cozy and elegantly decorated with beautiful art and antiques. Our fully stocked kitchen and new gas grill allows you to cook in when desired, and the proximity to the nearby restaurants on the island offer wonderful dining experiences without having to travel off the island. We also offer light provisioning for a small fee for you upon arrival so your cupboards are not bare. The property is fenced and very private.
No roads to cross and twenty steps out the gate and you arrive on a private crescent shaped beach that is never crowded. Come back home to the cottage from the beach, where a beautiful, large pool awaits for you to float leisurely, or swim your laps if desired.
The local islanders are very friendly and happy to help you with directions, or suggestions as to near by activities should you need assistance.

Why the Owner Chose Anna Maria
Anna Maria draws travelers from the world over. The tropical weather and the proximity to four airports makes it quite easy to travel to Anna Maria. Orlando is also close by for day trips to the amusement parks and you can "recover" back in the quiet surroundings of Anna Maria. Anna Maria has several outstanding restaurants within walking distance of the cottage. If you want to drive into Long Boat Key or Sarasota, the restaurant opportunities are endless. There are no high rise buildings here! Ride the free trolley shuttle and tour the island. Transfer to a bus and ride all the way to St. Armand's circle for fantastic shopping in Sarasota. The opportunities are endless for those wanting activities and distraction. Return back to the cottage for peace and serenity.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
We are located 20 steps to a sandy beach. Favorite activities are kayaking to the sandbar a few hundred yards off shore and collecting sand dollars. (A tandem kayak comes with the rental). Being able to hear the waves from the house, draws us down to the beach in the morning with our coffee and in the evenings for an incredible sunset and to watch the dolphins frolic. Minutes to historic Bean Point and both piers which have wonderful restaurants. Having an early morning breakfast while watching the sunrise and the fishermen on the pier reminds me of earlier years spent in Florida as a child.

I relocated to Florida from the Virgin Islands. I missed island life and longed for the beauty of the islands and the friendly islanders. I found Anna Maria Island by accident. It was a business trip one Friday to nearby Sarasota and I decided to take the scenic road home. After discovering the beauty and unspoiled development on the island, I started my quest for an island property. I fell in love with the tranquility here. The beautiful clear water and the pristine white sand beaches speak volumes about why the rental season here is so successful. It's quiet and unlike any other beach location in Florida.
