Year Purchased: 2004
My Mother Florence and Myself (Krista) on the balcony of the Bungalow. We moved from sunny CA to the beautiful Pacific Northwest in Dec. of 2004. It was our dream for many years to move to the Northwest and Olympia is centrally located in the Northwest and the water ways (Budd Inlet) was a major attraction. When my Mother purchased the property, the beach house was a little run down shabby shack! We remodeled the Bungalow in 2008 and opened as a vacation rental. We live on top of the hill and also enjoy the view of the Inlet and the awesome wildlife and all the activity on Budd Inlet with the Port of Olympia with the large ships and the Sat. gala of sail boats with the Olympia Sail club down the bay...We have three labs a choc., black and yellow who we walk daily either on the Bungalow's beach or at the many beautiful parks with all the wild flowers and trees and the air is so fresh. We feel so blessed. The downtown always has some fun activity and all the wonderful restaurants...Olympia is a wonderful place to live!

The vision of transforming the beach house into the Bungalow came years later after many times of going down to the house and always saying to myself...this would make a perfect charming getaway for couples or a single person to relax and enjoy themselves with all the ammenities of home and also in close proximity to Seattle, Portland, Mt. Rainier and all the wonderful activities the state capital city Olympia had to offer. We have had many parents stay at the Bungalow with their loved ones attending Evergreen...Just a 5 mile drive up the road.

We enjoyed our stay at the Beverly Beach Bungalow. It's cozy, comfortable, and has lots of charming decorative details. The view from the deck is spectacular (even on rainy days), and the feeling of being away from it all (although conveniently close to Olympia) was delightful. The listing description and photos accurately reflected the bungalow's location and amenities, and the owner was personable and helpful. We would highly recommend this rental. Note to guests with limited mobility: the listing photo accurately shows the many steps down to the bungalow from the parking area. The steps are not steep, but could present a problem to some guests.

This was my second visit to the area and I knew I had to stay at the Beverly Beach Bungalow again. Krista made me feel right at home and the place is simply magical. The view is awesome and you feel very close to nature when you are here. I love it and highly recommend it!

I returned from Iraq on July 22nd and spent the 23rd of July until the 1st of August in the Beach Bungalow. It is hard to determine where to begin when describing how wonderful the bungalow and Krista were! Krista was extremely flexible, gracious and the perfect host. She took the time to highlight all the features of the bungalow and made sure everything was taken for from charcoal for the grill to laundry detergent for the washer. The bungalow itself is absolutely spectacular. Very modern and comfortable, the bed is amazing. The view is breath taking and words cannot properly describe it. When I was not on base for mandatory reasons I was at the beach bungalow. Spectacular view, wonderful service and the best way to spend a homecoming I can think of. Thank you Krista! I will absolutely return when I venture back to the Olympia area.

We had a great time for our 12th anniversary weekend. It was the hottest weekend of the summer and we actually went swimming in the Puget Sound! We never left the bungalow (except to swim) and enjoyed every minute of it (except when my husband broke the coffee pot). Krista was very kind and understanding about the whole thing. She was a perfect hostess and I highly recommend this spot. (We saw Mt. Rainier every day and it was stunning!) Thanks again Krista.

We've stayed at The Bungalow twice and going back for a third time next month. The view is amazing, the furnishings and bedding are exquisite. A perfect getaway cottage that sits over the lapping waves of Puget Sound. We walked the beach ( only a few stairs ), drove to surrounding areas, enjoyed tranquil moments. The views are spectacular. Directly across from the bungelow is Mt. Rainier that rises over the forest and wait until you see the SUNSETS!! The cottage is spacious, clean, comfortable and decorated in soft colors that make relaxing even easier. We left feeling refreshed and relaxed. This is a perfect spot to soothe your soul. Kritsa is a wonderful hostess who knows exactly what we needed to get away from the world and enjoy life. We will be back.

The Beverly Beach Bungalow was truly an Amazing find! We needed a quick getaway, love Puget Sound, and found Kristina's place the perfect answer. It was a glorious weekend and the weather was perfect. It so reminded me of my childhood at my grandmother's cabin a couple of inlets over, but with the same amazing views of the Capitol, downtown Olympia, and Mt. Rainier. Accommodations were wonderful, as was our host. Only hint I have: stop and get some food and a bottle of wine before you arrive because you won't want to leave this little slice of heaven. We hope to be back soon and would highly recommend this place to others. Thanks, Kristina!

What a find! Stunning views of Budd Inlet, Mt. Rainier and the State Capitol! A perfect getaway for couples. Secluded, romantic, relaxing and just minutes from downtown Olympia with great shopping and dining. Expertly decorated with plenty of amenities. Great beach for walking, swimming and boating.
