Casa de la Luna y Estrellas ( Playa Coco Unit #3) is a luxury vacation rental townhome on Playa el Coco (Coco Beach). Located on the Pacific coast of Nicaragua, approximately 18 km south of San Juan del Sur, it is the perfect rental for people who want a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and don't want to spend their vacation at some impersonal, crowded resort.
With four bedrooms, central air conditioning, and all the comforts you would expect from a luxury rental, it is perfect place for couples, friends, and families to spend time together. Playa el Coco is over a mile long stretch of beautiful white sand beach, with a very gradual slope, making it perfect for swimming. A crowded day at el Coco is 20 people stretched over the entire beach!
The first floor has a full kitchen and a separate dining area which leads to a spacious living room. Outside, the covered patio has plenty of room for two rockers and a lounge chair. The first floor also has a half bath.
The second floor has a master bedroom with covered balcony with a king sized bed, a large, lockable walk in closet, and its own full bath. Bedroom number two has a queen bed and a large closet, and it shares a full bathroom with bedroom number three, which has two twin beds and a large closet.
The third floor has a spacious bedroom with a queen bed and two large glass patio doors opening out to each rooftop balcony. The back balcony has wonderful tree top views and a great view of the ocean. Although the top bedroom does not have air conditioning, it does have a good ceiling fan and when the two doors are open, it gets a strong sea breeze, making it comfortable both day and night. The two balconies and the bright, light filled top room are exclusive to the center units at Playa Coco.
The development has secure, paved parking, a pool, a beach shower, sidewalks, satellite TV, wireless internet, cell phone service, landscaping, and 24 hour security. It was built respecting the natural scenery and most of original trees and plants were left in place.
After a long day of swimming at the beach, sit and watch the spectacular sunset over the Pacific, then go up to the roof deck to see the crystal clear stars and moon from Casa de la Luna y Estrellas.

After traveling to Nicaragua, we fell in love with the country and the people and decided that this was the perfect place for a vacation home.
