Villanova, a beautiful 17th century estate only 1.5 km from Levanto and its sandy beach, bordering Cinque Terre National Park, invites you to enjoy a relaxing and private atmosphere.
Villanova is ideally located to visit the enticing Cinque Terre National Park and its characteristic five coastal villages which can easily be reached by train, ferry or by hiking, also directly from the property.
The charming villa can accommodate from 2 to 4 people. Antique furniture add to the elegant country-house feel. The villa has terrace and garden with panoramic views. Tables and chairs, lounge beds, umbrellas and barbecue pits enable our guests to enjoy the “open air” life or a romantic dinner “under the stars”.
Start your day with a healthy organic breakfast buffet, rent a bike, relax on the beach, hike the many trails of Cinque Terre or... let us organize an excursion of your taste.
The view from Villanova is unique, in the distance one can see several small villages nestled in the valleys, a scene that becomes especially appealing by night when the ochre-colored church towers are bathed in a soft light.
From Villanova other famous attractions that can easily be reached by train, ferry, or car are the coastal towns Portovenere, Lerici, and Tellaro of the Golf of the Poets in La Spezia, Portofino and Santa Margherita north of Levanto, and the village of Varese Ligure in the Vara Valley.
Spend a relaxing day at the Montecatini thermes, explore the marble quarries of Carrara, or visit the Lunigiana Valley with its 100 castles. The historic cities of Pisa, Genova, Lucca, and Florence can be reached within one or two hours.
In the same estate are also available other accommodations, apartments and rooms in bed and breakfast. Please ask for informations about all our rooms and apartments or visit our website.

My fiance and I spent a extraordinary two weeks at the Villa in late May-early June of this year, and we couldn't have asked for more. Giancarlo was responsive and welcoming when we made our reservation and planned our arrival - an unexpected train cancellation brought us into town very late in the evening, and he patiently arranged a taxi and waited to show us into our apartment. The Villa, its grounds, and the apartment furnishings were beautifully renovated and well-cared for. Alberto and his on-site team provided warm, friendly customer service to all the guests - the breakfasts were perfect, the recommendations and guidance on the area, unmatched. We spent our days hiking the trails through Cinque Terre from Levanto to Portovenere, ending each day on the Villa's gorgeous terrace with a bottle of Sassarino and a beautiful view of the sun setting over the valley leading to the sea below. We'd recommend the Welcome Package - just to get a good start on local food/wine. We were entirely on foot during our stay and loved the walk to and from town; on some of our longer hiking days the sight of Giro's wagging tail and endless need for love and attention was the motivation we needed to tackle the last stretch of the driveway. Overall it was a wonderful experience, we felt welcomed and at home, and we hope to go back again very soon. Many thanks, Amanda and NickRecommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

After spending a week in Tuscany we travelled to Levanto to enjoy Cinque Terra. Levanto offered the best of both worlds. Daily hiking the villages of Cinque Terra, relaxing by the sea, or enjoying the local food and wine. Accommodations at Agriturismo are very quaint, clean and more than we expected. The daily continental breakfast was delicious with local produce and a chance to meet others. We did not have a car for this leg of our holiday and found trains, boat taxis or local taxis sufficient to get around. This area of Italy is very hilly, so be prepared to walk steep hills. After a day of walking you will enjoy the local wine, breads and cheese. We recommend the welcome package to stock your kitchen for the first day. We look forward to returning.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We had an exceptional time at Villanova. The setting was magical, the breakfasts superb, and our hosts very gracious. We arranged a taxi from train station to take us to Villanova. It is a mile from town and since we didn't have a car, we rented bikes from them and biked to the train station to get to Cinque Terre and around town. We even biked to nearby Bonassola. Levanto is very quaint with small grocery stores with excellent pesto at the deli counter! We bought inexpensive local wine which was excellent. On Wednesday, there is an open-air market just like a traveling Wal-Mart! We cooked dinner in our room in the evening and feasted on a hearty breakfast in the morning. It was truly one of our favorite spots while visiting Italy!Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.
