This adorable little apartment just half a block from Piazza del Popolo, is a wonderful home base for touring Rome. It is very well located and truly convenient to everything -- we even walked to the Vatican (in about 30-40 mins). It is accurately reflected in the photos and write up. I really have nothing bad to say about the apartment or its location. Before I could start my vacation in earnest, I had to email an important file that I had worked on during the flight to Rome. I was disappointed that there were no instructions for the wifi that is listed in the listing, and furthermore, there was no wifi that I could detect with my computer. I used a variety of means to try to resolve this with the owner, but to no avail. She didn't seem able to understand what I was asking. We survived by surfing off a weak, unsecured signal nearby, but it was very frustrating and the only thing that was not as represented.

Thanks for the use of your lovely apartment during our stay in Rome. We returned home yesterday. It was a perfect vacation, due in large part to the excellent ‘home base’ we had for those nine days! We found the location to be just right, we really enjoyed the terrace, the Wi-Fi was a godsend, and all the amenities were just right! We own two rental properties here in Provincetown, Massachusetts, on Cape Cod, and I just sold my bed and breakfast last spring after running it for thirteen years. We appreciate what it takes to make a comfortable vacation property. We will certainly recommend your apartment to our friends who are considering a stay in Rome…a couple have already expressed interest! Once again, thank you for a most wonderful stay in Bella Roma!

My daughter and I stayed in late March 2011. The owner's niece met us there to give us the keys. The location is excellent--safe and upscale and accessible by taxi for airport transfers. You can walk everywhere, or experience the photogenic Piazza del Popolo each time you return "home" from the nearby Flaminio Metro. I had feared it was too far north, but it was fine, since the central distances are so short and it was nice to be a bit away from the highly touristy areas. The bedroom has high ceilings and modern Italian lights, including an excellent reading-in-bed lamp. A new supermarket is very close on via della Frezze. Butter, jam, oil and vinegar were in the apartment, as well as two luxurious bathrobes, hairdryer, sharp knife, and wifi and all cleaning items. The heat came on every evening; it was too cold to use the nice balcony. We did not need the AC. The kitchen is very small but adequate, with a window. The shower is narrow--pretty standard though, and there is a bidet. I thought the bed was more queen size than king. Excellent value for the money. we were very pleased.

We had a wonderful time at this lovely apt in central Rome this Fall. The weather was perfect and we loved the neighborhood. Just outside the door are many lovely restaurants, churches and shops. It is very convenient to the subway and the main shopping area near Via del Corso. Neighborhood is clean and upscale. Only two blocks from Ville Borghese park. The outside covered patio was a cozy spot for breakfast and dinner. We walked miles every day, had delicious meals and took in many of the sights of Rome. You have a city to be proud of!

This apartment is perfect and it is in the perfect location. It's close to the metro station, but is also within walking distance of a lot of popular sights. It is in a very safe neighborhood. We didn't get back until late every night and we felt perfectly safe. The grocery store is within walking distance. Perfect home base for our two week stay in Rome. The owner is reachable by email or phone. There is also a building manager on site. We were here for the end of May and first of June, so we didn't need the air conditioning. We ate all our meals on the terrace. It is well covered in case of showers. We would stay here again in a second.

The listing and photos accurately describe this property. However, it is closer to the Piazza del Popolo than the Piazza di Spagna. It is clean and well-maintained. The owner is flexible, helpful, and proactive. I stayed for eight crazy days and eight restful nights. I'd highly recommend this rental for active couples. The apartment is very affordable and north-centrally located. Nearby shops and restaurants are abundant. Almost every tourist destination in Rome is within walking distance and the Metro's Flaminio platform is just a few short blocks away. Be sure to purchase Rick Steve's Italy to get the most out of your stay. Ciao bella!
