1250 Square Foot, dual level condo. Walk to the Schuss Mountain ski slopes and Ivan's restaurant. Magic carpet for young skiers with plenty of qualified ski instructors. A ski terrain area to test your skills. 49 ski runs on two hills with choices for all levels of ability. Large tubing area at the resort's Cedar River driving range. Also close by is the Cedar River Nordic Ski Center with cross country ski/skating equipment & snowshoe rentals and some of the best cross country skiing in Michigan. Trails are groomed on a regular basis.
The condo is part of the Shanty Creek Resorts. There is a complete Wellness Spa in the Summit which offers many relaxing and rejuvenating treatments and spa packages. Services include, Self-heated mud wrap, hot stone massage and invigorating facial treatments. The fitness facilities include state-of-the-art Nautilus equipment, Treadmills, Free Weights, exercise bikes, Sauna, Jacuzzi, and Steam Room.
Great sightseeing nearby at Petosky and Traverse City. Appealing close by towns with great dining in Belaire, Central Lake, Torch Lake & Elk rapids.

Why the Owner Chose Mancelona
We wanted a place to go where you can put the stress of everyday live aside. Where the things you want to do are close by. Where you can walk to the golf course and ski lifts. We wanted a place large enough for our family with a full kitchen, fireplace and a nearby restaurant. We've enjoyed our time at Shanty/Schuss and hope your experiences here are just as fun and memorable.
The Unique Benefits of this Condominium
The Schuss Mountain ski lifts & Lodge are within walking distance along with their professionally stocked ski & snowboard rental office. At the Schuss Lodge you can catch a sleigh ride, enjoy a warm fire near the restaurant and swim in the heated pool. The tubing run is quite long located on the driving range at Cedar River. There are six golf courses within three miles and the Schuss Mountain Pro-Shop is within 100 yards of the condo. We have a putting green for a front yard, and the eighteenth green is a short pitch away from our deck. You make side bets on how many golf balls will fall prey to water hazards that line each side of the approach to eighteen. The city of Belaire is within six miles of the condo where you can find fine dining, a micro brewery, movie theatre, antique shops, bars & restaurants where you can catch a game on a big screen or enjoy your favorite beverage. The resort can serve as a hub for memorable visits to Torch Lake, Traverse City, Petsokey and Elk Rapids. Each town has it's own character and unique vistas.
