During low tide, you can walk a half mile into the bay on freshly exposed sand, alongside minnow-filled tidal pools, skittering hermit crabs, and bubbles from clams breathing underfoot. You will discover what keeps people coming back every year to lovely Thumpertown Beach. Carry your glass of wine and stroll down to the beach in the evening to enjoy one of the world's most spectacular sunsets. Enjoy all of your meals on the back patio overlooking a heavily treed, private back yard. You can ride your bike to a fresh water lake in Wiley Park one mile away for a change of pace. Bring your bathing suit, sheets and towels and you are ready for a relaxing vacation.

This is a classic, spacious, comfortable, cozy, Cape Cod 2-bedroom beach cottage with lots of windows to catch the breeze from the nearby bay. A perfect place to create lasting memories for your family. This home is on a large pine treed ½ acre lot. It has a very private backyard that includes a new patio, table and chairs accessible by a sliding glass door. It has a gas grill, picnic table, and hammock. There is an outdoor shower and a washer/dryer included. There is a fully equipped kitchen that will fulfill all of your cooking needs. The living room comfortably seats the family with a queen size sofa (with mattress for overnight guests), love seat, a recliner, coffee table, bookshelves, and a desk. You can ride your bike to a fresh water lake in Wiley Park one mile away. Easy access to ocean beaches, hiking paths, the art galleries in Wellfleet, the Wellfleet flea market.
Plenty to Keep You Busy: There are books, games and puzzles for rainy days. This cozy cottage has cable TV, DVD, CD Player, and Wi-Fi connection for your laptop. A large harvest table is next to the kitchen area. There is a high chair, Pack N Play and bed side rails available upon request.
The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed and the second bedroom has two sets of sturdy bunks. It has two bedroom window air conditioners. The living area and master bedroom have ceiling fans. An umbrella and beach chairs are provided.
The famous bay sand flats and sand bars make for a dream vacation of ball playing, kite flying or creature seeking. A fresh water lake, Great Pond is in Wiley Park one mile away. Everything is included in this rental except linens and towels. This is a no smoking, no pets rental. In the evening, the street lights up when the sun sets down over the bay. The spectacle is free and just steps away.

This house was perfect for myself, my husband, and our almost 2yr old daughter with plenty of room for overnight guests. The house is very clean and has everything you need for a great vacation at the beach. They offer a wagon, beach chairs and umbrella. The kitchen is fully furnished with everything you would need. All you need to pack is your sheets and bathing suit. The back patio is perfect for outside dinners. The outside shower was also a great benefit. This was the perfect house for a relaxing family vacation. I would love to rent this property in the future and would recommend this house to all my family and friends.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
