This home has been completely renovated. Everything is brand new in 2006. This Beautiful Beach Home with Blue Bahama Awnings is located at 1001 Ariola Drive on Pensacola Beach. Ariola Drive is the only street that runs parallel to the Beautiful Emerald Blue Waters of the Gulf of Mexico!
The home is located within 50 steps of the dunes and has "unobscured views" of the Gulf and the Dunes from every room of the home and especially on the 200 square foot elevated deck. It is located directly across from the "walk over" to the Beach. This Beach along Florida's Gulf Coast has been recognized as one of the ten "whitest" and "most beautiful" in the world by numerous travel and vacation publications. Surfing in this particular part of the beach is one of the best in Northwest Florida!
From the elevated deck, you will hear the soothing sounds of the surf and observe surfers catching a wave while sunbathers frolic and relax on the "newly renourished" sugar white sandy beach just 50 steps away. Patio tables with lots of chairs on the deck. After your own venture onto the beach, you can shower off in the outside shower located on the 1000 square foot Patio.
Backyard also has a privacy fence, patio table and chairs, lots of chairs and lounge chairs, 2 BBQ grills and a swing, located under the deck for shade. With all of this, it can easily accomodate 75-100 people for parties, BBQ, and other events! Bicycles are available for a nominal fee.
Should you decide to take in some of the historical and other attractions around Pensacola there are a number that we recommend. The historic Pensacola Naval Air Station, where the "world renowned" Blue Angels Flight Demonstration Team is based and National Museum of Naval Aviation is just 15 minutes away. The Gulf Islands National Seashore and Historic Fort Pickens, where the Apache Indian Chief, Jeronimo was incarcerated in the late 19th Century is just five minutes from the home.
Entertainment and some of the best restaurants can be found both on the Island of Pensacola Beach or in downtown Pensacola, just ten minutes away. The Zoo in Gulf Breeze and Gulfarium in nearby Fort Walton Beach are attractions the whole family can enjoy. Biking, "Goofy" Golf, Deep Sea Fishing, Shopping, Parasailing, and Personal Watercraft can be had at and around Pensacola Beach. If you wish to attend Church, the Blue Dolphin is located less than one block from both a Catholic and a Protestant Church.
The Owners take pride in keeping the home and premises neat and clean. In fact, previous Guests write that The Blue Dolphin is one of the "cleanest and best kept beach home they've ever stayed at!" The interior and exterior of the home has been completely renovated since September 16, 2004, when Hurricane Ivan came ashore. Everything is provided! Just bring your food and clothes. Both Bathrooms have wall mounted hair dryers. Beach Bikes can be provided by the Owner for a Nominal Fee. (For Maintenance and Upkeep Costs).
