After searching many villas, we found Captain's Walk and knew immediately this was the place for us. The villa needed some updating which we have done over the years. We absolutely love the view and location.

We are Michael and Lori Loughnane and reside in Upper Saddle River, NJ. Michael is a patent attorney and Lori is a real estate agent as well as a volunteer Board of Education member. Our sons graduated from Duke University and Univ. of Colorado and our daughter is a student at Tulane University. They have thoroughly enjoyed Captain's Walk! We have been renting Captain's Walk since June 2003 and have had great rentors! We love being at 449 and know you will too!

We stayed the last week of 2011 and had a relaxing time. The Marriott is less than a 1/4 mile down the beach and offers deluxe spa services. Highly recommend a spa day!

This was our first stay at the Captain's Walk and we were very pleased with our villa and the entire complex, very clean and well maintained. Spectacular ocean view and sounds. Easy beach access not only for swimming but for walking and biking....for miles. So many restaurants...great early bird specials as well as a wonderful variety of dining experiences all close by. The owners were a pleasure to deal with...quick responses to all questions and inquiries. Everything was as they said it was, we had a very enjoyable stay and we will return.

We have been going to Captains Walk area for over 20 years, and this condo is right up there with the best. The 4th floor view is beautiful and the large balcony off the living area is a plus. The arrangements made with the owners were easy and thorough.

We have stayed here for several years now and have always had a great time. This is our "MUST STAY" location at HHI. Terrific location, right on the ocean (180 degree view) and close to all the things we like to do. A morning walk on the beach after breakfast is a great way to start the day. Sitting on the balcony listening to the surf while dining or watching the moon rise is a treat. The upgrades this year made our stay even better, especially the two full beds in the second bedroom. This place has always been clean and well maintained and a very secure neighborhood. The pool can get a bit noisy during the day when children are around but I enjoy watching them having a great time. Good place for families to enjoy time together.

We had a wonderful 2nd visit to this condo in less than 1 year! The rooms are larger than they appear in the pictures, the condo is beautiful and immaculate! I think the view is one of the best on the island. We are looking forward to visiting again next year!

We enjoyed the week of 12/25/10 to 1/1/11. Crazy weather including a bit of snow and our digs were fantastic. Wooden floors are warm and comfy on the feet, fairly new carpeting in bedrooms, master bath upgrades very nice, 2nd bath too, granite counter kitchen had the necessary amenities (bring your own spices if you want to cook - only salt and pepper on hand) breakfast bar open to dining room and living area for optimum socializing, living room cozy and the view is the BEST. View overlooks the pool which might be more noisy in the summer but great in the winter and the pristine beach is only steps away, just past the dunes. Aaaahhhhh! Obvious that homeowners have pride of ownership and keep the condo neat, clean and updated. The theme decor is relaxing without being too kitschy with warm and soothing colors perfect for the location. Walks to the little market and bike riding everywhere made us feel like kids again. The elevator makes it easy to get up and down - stairs optional. Code access is a snap with no keys to worry about. Get up early to catch the sunrise - it is spectacular. Hope to go back to the low country again next year. Thank you homeowners for sharing your lovely vacation home.

Just wanted to tell you Thank You for the use of your condo. We had a blast. Watched the sunrise just about every morning, Fished every day in front of condo and one day at Burkes Beach inlet. Managed to catch a few blues, a couple nice speckled trout, one about 2.5 lb. and a four foot bull shark, i left him to grow up. Cool job on the new wood floor. Me and my family stayed in this condo twice, and we absolutely loved it. It is right on the beach, has a wonderful pool, and there is so much to do around it. It was one of our best family vacations and we had so much fun. We rented bikes and rode to almost everywhere we went. There was many good restaurants and shops around and we loved the best. If you are thinking about renting a condo in Hilton Head this is a very excellent one to rent!
